This is the norm. If there were still 100 free agents out there like on July 1st, nobody would even know about it or care.
Tell other teams and the team you agreed to join. Announce it after that. Professional IMO.

If that is the case, I guess he really had trouble making up his mind today. So hopefully it's the Pelicans. Now if it takes another 4 hours or so, then he must be telling each team a really long thanks but no thanks speech.

Tom Benson likes to run a tight/very discreet organization. Players are respectful and are told to be professionals in there approach on and off the field, same goes for the coaching staffs and employees who works for Benson!

Guys you should only really trust the reporters with espn, yahoo and stuff i know we've seen everyone there is claiming he is signing with so and so but it'll only be believable when woj, stein or etc report it.
