...every defensive metric I can find points to Vasquez being an on-par defender with Reke. He's also an equally good rebounder. Think a bigger prime Andre Miller if you want a comparison.

Indeed. Agreeing to sign is only the conclusion to act 1. When he signs it is the start of act II. The end of that act will be if the Kings match.

IMO, the NBA and players need to come to an agreement to restructure free agency. This **** is ridiculous! You can negotiate 10 days before signings are allowed.

Nice. But I'd still rather a sign and trade because it guarantees he comes here rather than us dumping a player or two to make room for him, only to have Sacramento match.
