For what it's worth, that guy said he doesn't think the Kings will retain Evans.

Why would the Kings offer him a better contract ??

Tyreke when asked why he hasn't committed yet:

"I want that thread on Pelicans Report to go over 100 pages."

Who really knows at this point. You can say the same thing about them pulling their offer to Iggy after 3 hour. No one know what the Kings are thinking right now.

I won't get excited until the 13th, or we do a S&T. I just don't understand how a franchise as devoid of talent as Sacramento is, would let a player as talented as Evans go. I'm on board now, and I hope they do, but I just don't think they do.

    We got him

@SportsCenter: Tyreke Evans will sign four-year, $44 million offer sheet with New Orleans Pelicans. (via @ESPNSteinLine and @GoodmanESPN)

Good news...maybe. No story about the Kings? We'd be worse off if he signed and they matched.

    Your move Sacramento!

Not if they match. Everybody has to relax because nothing will be settled until the 13th at the earliest.

If that's true it's great. I just wonder if he softened his stance about playing SF. Call his position whatever you want, I don't care as long as he's willing to guard the other teams SF on defense. Heck tell him he's the PG for all I care.

Not 100% true. It depends on whether the Kings agree a big contract with another free agent. If they do, they'd have to renounce his rights.

  24. #1974
Whether ESPN's report is true or not is HUGE.

Once Tyreke verbally agrees, we have to commit to that. Which means we have to trade Lopez.

If he is still playing the field and has not given us a verbal commitment, we don't have to open up that cap space. Devil is in the details
