It's been reported that he'd rather stay. That's unbelievable that someone would rather play for that joke of a franchise, than come to our up and coming young core.

He is probably saying that for the same reason we are saying Gordon would be the starter and he would be off the bench. It's all niceties just in case the deal falls apart.
I am becoming more and more convinced we are going to trade Lopez to make room, sign and trade Roberts or Vasquez for Reke, then trade Gordon for Deng. The question I have is who will be the center we pick up to play 10-15 minutes or against the bigger bigs.

They have plenty of cap flexibility. Cousins has no impact on Evans.

I agree with this. He wants to start and Dell sees him in a Terry/Manu role. He'd still get starters minutes and salary, so I don't see the big deal
