I get ya. Wasn't a knock on you or anyone else not enthused with Evans, more just a "whatever" in the direction of Miller.

Could Dell mention Jrue in the meeting last night at all? I assume not.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Sac also has to wait until the 10th to sign as well, and I'm assuming Dell can talk about Jrue since it's not like the conversation is recorded and will be heard by the league lol

FYI I want Evans. Was just seeing so many ppl laugh at the $ the Pelicans offered him, they seem to like him as a player just not for that price. Gordon, Rivers, GV as starters don't excite me, now Jrue and Evans do. I say go get em even if you have to overpay slightly.

Just because you like him doesn't mean we get him... The dude just doesn't fit the team.... He is a slasher, that can't defend, shoot or pass well... and on top of that he doesn't have court-vision

Tyreke Evans reportedly came away encouraged about his future in Sacramento after meeting with the Kings on Monday, and is on his way to meet with the Hawks in Atlanta on Tuesday.

Kings ownership re-affirmed their interest in keeping Evans but there are still no indications that they will match offers. For his part, Evans likes playing in Sacramento but he's going to have to convince management that he can play hard, pass the ball and run a team before they match a big offer.

so... what player or combo of players do you think is plan B if the Kings match? Atlanta could overpay for Evans even more with their ridiculous cap space and no big names realistically wanting to go to their team.
    Please match. PLEASE match.

Brutal. Then you factor in that maybe we won't know if Sac will match even if he does sign it which means more time.

he does defend well and has good court vision, only thing u said that was correct is that he isnt a good shooter, yet that is, i expect that to improve.

Huh, I just played for you for a few years, how do I prove I can play hard/ pass the ball/ n run a team in July? So is he courting Sacramento or are they courting him...

Thanks u. Totally wrong assessment made. He is a good defender. Had a horrible defending team behind him. He is elite at driving and finishing. Shot come and boom he is a great player.

Tyreke is better. No indication Gordon will play more than half a year. He isn't that far off when they play.

It's when FAs can sign. Until then it's all verbal.

exactly, he had to defend the opponent's best player while having no help and in a non defensive scheme, next to jrue or gordon he would be a beast, also knowing AD is behind him. his stats would improve here no doubt IMO.

really hope we sign corey brewer, he just turned 27 and averaged 18 ppg per 36 minutes and is a great defender.

    i have a question
if we cant sign evans do we throw all the money at Iggy?
well not all the money but like a 4yr/48 million type of deal???

Reading too much into it. He's scheduled to meet with Atlanta tomorrow. If he was that confident in the Kings, he would have received and accepted an offer from them already. If he's still visiting teams, he obviously didn't get offered what he wanted.
