"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Looks like we signed Gordon's replacement. With Gordon, Vasquez, and Lopez all on the trade block could we pool them together for a SF and C? I'm sure we're still interested in Iggy.
Pelicans get:
Iguadola (Denver signs and trades)
JaVale McGee
Nuggets get:
Gordon
Vasquez
Lopez
He is supposed to meet with them tonight in a couple hours. Should know by then. Dell must have told him not to sign if Kings plan to match.
I think I've never been so excited/anxious during free agency.
If the Kings match, all this fuss was much to do about nothing. We'll have to wait till July 13th or 14th for the final result on it but the Kings probably won't match an 11 million dollar per year offer for Tyreke Evans. I wouldn't but if this domino were to fall in our favor, you'd have to expect GV and Lopez to be gone. Gordon though. I'd keep him just to entertain the idea of a deadly small backcourt of Reke, EJ & Jrue. I'd melt with glee.
The New Wave of Pelican Power!
I heard on 106.1 that word from the Pel's camp is they want to use Evans like a Ginobli , If so we keep EG
If we do trade GV or Gordon. I would hope we get a shooter in return. We need an outside shooter to go with Evans and Holiday (although Holiday has an outside shot).
Kings would be pretty stupid to match unless they plan on starting him at pg

NOLA.com just reported 4 years 40 mil!! That's a pretty good deal for Evans!
