I'd be happy with Burke. I get the criticism of him as not an elite prospect, though his combine numbers stack up with other top point guards coming into the league. But I think his floor is Mike Conley, Jr. or Jeff Teague and that's okay with me. I think those guys are solid starting lead guards who are good enough to play for a contender. Not too caught up in positions on this. Burke is an above-average spot up shooter as well. Could see he and Rivers trading off as primary ball handlers depending on how things are matching up. Same with Vasquez who can also spot up effectively. Would it be a bit of a log jam at first? Sure, but rosters are fluid and the situation with Gordon seems tenuous. If no top prospect falls to us, I'd take Burke in a heartbeat, unless you got a great trade down deal.
burkes vision and hesitation dribble are reminiscent of paul + he burke finishes very well at the rim. he does not have pauls elite athleticism. burke reminds me of mario chalmers because of his ability to drain clutch 3s. say what you will but the guy wins
I hope the organization knows all of this about him.
