Nicely done. You pulled a Mavs on that one. That's the same contract I gave him last year.
This round I offered him 3 years - 4.2 mil. Lol he'll be one happy sob if teams keep giving him 9 mil every year.

Yes, I nabbed one of my three main targets! Bench depth on the way to being solidified.

Congrats to all those whose made signings, I see some VERY intriguing deals. To those who didn't, there's still good value out there.

Really happy with Donyell Marshall. Should be a good complement.

I grossly overpaid for Posey and Smith but they fill a huge need. Cleaves as well. Posey may start at SG over Manu and make Manu a 6th man as a backup SF/SG.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

I like that idea for Posey. I think he'll be good for you.

Posey was 4 years - 8 million per season

Smith was 3 years - 8 million per season

    Cleaves was 1 year - 5 million.

Joe Smith has an important role, especially in the playoffs. His defense will be important.

I don't mind overpaying for Posey and Smith. I'm gonna be over the cap long-term anyway. May as well max out while I can since my core is already established. Plus Posey may start too. He's a better shooter and defender than Manu.

Can't wait to see those year 3 figures with the Okafor and Jefferson contracts AND the Manu money AND the Melo money.

That's why I didn't care about getting Jay Williams. I would have been happy with Cassell, Posey, and Smith.

I'm not done yet. Got to fill up the rest of the roster.

Wow Joe Smith is higher than Okafor on the index.
