Here's one while we're at is that has a very in depth look at him, personally. One of my favorites, shows his fire and passion.

I'm sure Russell Westbrook and Stephon Curry are impressed with his fire and passion.

I don't really get the point of that comment whatsoever.

I don't know. Something about he's not an elite athlete or as good a shooter as Curry? It's a confusing post indeed.

I would be happy with Burke, he became the guy I want from that video
    New Orleans Pelicans-Seattle Seahawks-Atlanta Braves-Anaheim Ducks

Burke was my #1 want since December. Would love to have him here.

No I'm not confused, just don't get the point of being a condecending you-know-what. He's insinuating that "fire and passion" won't make him a good defender against those guys.

And neither Curry or Westbrook are amazing defenders either

I just don't get the love fest. That's all. We have honest and frank discussion about every top draft pick including Nerlens Noel who is pretty close to being the universal #1 pick EVEN with an ACL injury.. yet any Trey Burke dissent is shot down. It's mind boggling.

To Purple Haze, wasn't trying to be condescending TO YOU... but your comment just agitated my dislike for the reasons people throw around to defend him. Unless a guy literally quits on you... You can't really measure someones heart, intangibles, or "it" you can only see when its NOT present. Clearly, Trey Burke has something. So does Oladipo, Porter, Len, even Shabazz. So do guys currently excelling in the league... Curry, Westbrook, etc. A lot of people have IT. That's why they are be considered to or already play in the NBA. Let's talk about the facts and how the facts project to the next level without all the unnecessary bro-mance. I love coming to PelicansReport, I just think we can "do better" and "come correct" when it comes to debating. Just my personal opinion, not directed at anybody.

    Forget CP3. I want TB3.

It should be an interesting year (should we land Burke). I want Burke as much as the next guy, but if we draft him, next year all those people crying about GV taking to many shots, and playing hero ball, are going to be silent when Burke does the same thing.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

i want tb3, he just has that IT factor, he's a winner.

If fails at it, it'll be surprising because he could be counted on making big plays in the clutch at Michigan. Those shots in the Final Four were the stuff of legends.

Trey is pretty cut for his size.

I think he could be better than Chris Paul. #6 maybe our magic number.

Lofty words. Time will tell. I can only hope he gets the chance to prove them true or false wearing Pel blue, red, and gold.

There were certainly things Paul did better leaving college and he was considered the better pro prospect. However when you consider Paul was the better prospect going into college and Trey's career exceeded Chris' I think it's possible. Just not very likely.

This guy is such a safe pick. I just can't see him failing.

I'm with you on this. I don't even bother to argue it. Burke is good player but he, like all the players in this draft, is not a sure thing.
We want more! We want more!

Yeah, Steph Curry's defense won't likely scare Burke either so ...
