Man oh man. I would be excited with either. But I think I go with option 2. More scoring threats.
Ya they are both great teams and i cant pick 1.
Team 1 has youth and shutdown defense
Team 2 looks like it could have the best offense in the league in a few years
I think team 1 would be better for the long term and team 2 would be an awesome team sooner rather than later
Team 1 seems like the perfect monty team
Team 2 seems more fun to watch
Pek really is not an option, I don't know why he keeps coming up.
Pek is a player who averages 16/10, basically, Portland has been speculated that they will offer him the max. Minnesota would match that. He has also been on record saying he wants to be in Minnesota and would consider taking less money to remain there. He's just well beyond gettable, from what I know, and I keep up with the Wolves almost as much as the Pelicans.
Option 1.
The defensive prowess of that team gels perfectly with what Monty wants, and under that starting lineup, Gordon can be the focus of the offense with Porter and Bledsoe taking secondary ball-handling roles.
*Edit*
I need to focus on my computer science final... Ima try to stop readin lol

I would take the first be I would rather have this team
Eric Bledsoe / Brian Roberts
Austin Rivers/ Kevin Martin
Luol Deng or Danny Granger/ Darius Miller
Anthony Davis/ Ryan Anderson
DeMarcus Cousins/ Jason Smith
I like,
Bledsoe, Rivers
Gordon, Oladipo
Granger, Aminu
Davis, Anderson
Smith, Lopez
Granger and Bledsoe would be free agents next year which if they don't play well we could free up a lot of money for 2014. If Porter is drafted you wouldn't need Aminu and if McLemore it would be the same lineup as Oladipo.
I'd still like to get another pick in the draft and get a center to groom. Withey, Gobert, or maybe Len will fall far enough to grab him.
The next time someone mentions granger on this board, I will punch an infant.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I think Burke becomes a star so I'll strongly lean towards any team with him on it.
Although I think Bledsoe is probably a better pairing with Gordon. I like Trey as a prospect that much.
The 2nd one would be my choice. In an ideal world, we land porter in the draft and sign tyreke Evans and Bledsoe in FA. These moves creates depth and competition in every position.
According to hoops hype, Portland only has roughly $42 on the books next season, if they decline the option on Pavlovic. Remember Roy's contract was amnestied, so he doesn't count against the cap. They should be able to make a couple salary dumps (I'd take Wes Matthews off their hands) in order to offer Pek the max if they'd like.
Im offically on the Trey Burke train and im not turning back. Worst Case scneario is Oladipo.
We can get a SF in the next class. Lets take care of our PG business right people please.

I just cant see Burke dropping to 5 or 6 especially if Orlando has already stated that they would have taken Smart.
They obviously want a PG.
Oladipo would be my second option.
But if we miss out on Burke, Oladipo, McLemore and Porter then I say trade down for two picks.
