    Under Contract:
Eric Gordon - honestly i am still undecided, around 50/50 if he stays or is traded. If he can show Demps and Monty that he can stay healthy this entire off-season and be completely 100% going into next year we might keep him. If we feel his injuries will keep happening we will probably move him.
    Ryan Anderson - stays
    Anthony Davis - stays
    Jason Smith - stays
    Austin Rivers - stays
Greivis Vasquez - traded before deadline

    Team Options:
Robin Lopez - stays if upgrade isn't made via FA
    Lance Thomas - gone
    Darius Miller - stays
    Brian Roberts - stays

    Expiring Contracts:

    Al-Farouq Aminu - gone
    Xavier Henry - gone
    Roger Mason - gone
    Lou Amundson - stays
    Terrel Harris - gone

I wonder if we will entertain any trades involving Ryan Anderson. Not actually trading him, mind you. Just entertain it. Great contract, productive, will stretch floor...

I would be ok if we traded Anderson. It would have to be a real sweet deal though. Seeing as Anderson is productive and his contract is solid.

I'd trade Ryno if the right offer comes. I'm not as high on him as others. He can shoot the lights out but he's a one trick pony. He's a liability on defense and he has no back to the goal game and he's 6'10. This teams needs more athleticism and if I could get that, I'd be ok letting Ryno go.

Anthony Davis, Ryan anderson, and jason smith are definite. I think austin rivers will stay but i read an article about including him in a trade for rondo that i would like if would do. Also i think roberts and lance thomas will stay but i would not be upset if they are used in trades. Eric Gordon is tricky because it depends on the value we would get in return. I think the argument with monty may hurt his chances. But likely i think Gordon will stay. I think everyone else will be traded or not resigned.

I think the draft will tell the story. I def see Lopez and Vasquez being traded. Roberts, admundson, aminu will all be resigned I think. Aminu is only 22 or 23 and he is improving every year under Monty. He is def working on his shot and it shows. They can resign him for. Pretty cheap contract which I think is a must. I think Roberts def cemented his place as our 2nd unit pg. can't wait for free agency N draft time tho.

Been saying this for awhile. Our two best players play the same position. I wonder who Ryno could land us in a trade??

I agree but I think Lopez will be gone, Aminu will remain and I think the rest is great

first trade no second trade yes. If we draft Mc, don't need sniper but starting center would be nice.

Of course bad. Biyombo has no offense and will not probably develop any in his whole career. And getting the nÂș2 of any draft, yeah, it's always desirable and good, but you really don't know in what will turn the prospect you choose.
This for Gordon, who could be a top 3 SG in the league in like 2 years if stays healthy (yeah the "IF"), and Anderson, who is a sniper from long range, and is one of the centerpieces of the core we are building up.

I can see the Pelicans getting one player in the draft and two players in FA. So I hope they can keep Gordon, Anderson, Davis, Rivers, and Aminu. Then the best of the rest listed above.

Who would trade for Austin right now? And I think he still has potential.

  23. #48
I would be down with trading GV but you wont get equall value for him. Whats the point in striking while the iron is hot, when the iron is only going to net you a late 1st round pick, or some guy that is on an mle contract. He isn't as hot as he could be as, give him another year as either a bench (or starting) pg and next year you can sign and trade him for real value.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

  24. #49
I may cry if we trade Austin Rivers. Yes its THAT dramatic. Guy is gonna be good.

I can agree with this. For the life of me, I don't understand why people are so quick to give away a decent 7 ft center on a GREAT contract.
