Gone Via Trade or Not Resigned, Stays

    Under Contract:
    Eric Gordon
    Ryan Anderson
    Anthony Davis

    Austin Rivers
    Greivis Vasquez

    Team Options:

I'd like to end saying that I would like to see Gordon stay, but I have a feeling he'll be gone by trade deadline.

This is how I see it going:

    1. Gordon stays unless we get a equal value trade for him.
    2. GV is gone, with Rivers needing minutes to develop and the possibility of getting Burke i dont see GV staying, strike while the iron is hot and get value for him
    3. Lopez stays unless we get equal trade value for him. Which he very well might, he is a cheap 7fter with a post and mid range game and gets a high ammount of blocks. A championship team with not a lot of cap space would love to get a legit 7 footer for cheap!
    4. We will try and re-sign Aminu but won't overpay. Since we have a lot of cap and there arent too many free agents I see us going after I would like to do with Aminu what we did with landry and give him a large 1 year contract and if he performs well sign him to a long term deal. Im all for giving aminu 1 more year to tell if he is the real deal or not, he is DEFINITELY worth the risk!
    5. Darius Miller stays for cheap.

Only people I can confidently predict will be gone are Xavier, Amundson and Harris. Everyone else has a case to be made.

I think Amundson will be brought back on the minimum, taking the spot Lance Thomas would have taken.

What could we get from a championship contending team for Lopez though, a late first?

Depends how desperate they are, if a team is only a robin Lopez away from a championship usually they will overpay because they aren't gonna let something small come in the way of winning a championship. U could get a late first and a young guy with talent who is stuck on their bench, like the heat u could get a late first and Norris cole, the clippers u could prob do Lopez and gv for Bledsoe

Not true, no way they let Bledsoe go before they lock up Paul, he is their insurance, but if Paul resigns long term no reason to keep Bledsoe since they could get good pieces for him.

I think my point was they could get a way way way better deal than just Robin Lopez, when they have DeAndre Jordan and Ryan Hollins. Besides Lopez cant go to "Lob City" He can barely jump!

i dont see us losing lopez unless we get a nice piece for him, we have no one else at center and he is the ONLY true center on our whole roster.

I like this could go either way on Lopez. But even with this plan we will add a draft pick and 2 to 3 FA. Can't see them flipping more than half the roster.
We want more! We want more!

The only "locks" to be on the roster come opening night next year in my opinion are Davis, Rivers, Anderson and whoever we take with our 1st round pick. Everyone else will be available, and we know how Dell works. I expect a huge roster turnover by opening night.

There is no way we will let Lopez walk with that contract. If we cannot find a center in FA Lopez will be our starter again or he will be traded. That contract for a big man is too valuable to just throw away.

I agree, buy Monty's and Dells accounts Robin far out played their expectations this season when he commented that they never planned for Robin to have this big a role. It's been a pleasent surprise. Doesn't mean the position can't be upgraded but IMO if it's upgraded Robin may still have a place on this roster unless they can't get a trade done without moving him either way his contrace isn't preventing them from signing someone.
