    ok it's over
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

I'm with Wesley unless you get a home run pick then you should consider giving the pick away .. The NBA should raise the age requirement . These guys aren't staying in college long enough & they are getting destroyed in the NBA . The NBA is man game .. Austin rivers is a good example
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!

The age thing doesn't matter. The sooner you can become a pro and get minutes, the quicker you can improve. Basically, get to as high of a level as you can get minutes in to develop as quickly as possible.

It was signifcantly more full than usual. Everyone is leaving now, though.

The best part was Hugo body slamming the Kings mascot from last year.

It matters when your body is not physically ready to log any minutes. Many of them come into the league as string beans and establish an instant injury history. You can also improve your game by getting more minutes at the NCAA level. Look at Lillard.

Gotta lose Wednesday because I don't see Sac winning another game. I believe the Kings/Sonics would win a head to head tie breaker for 5th ping pongs.

Can't wait to see the Pelicans court design and uniforms.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

I said the highest level you can get minutes in. Whether that is college, NBA, overseas, or D-League, wherever.

hahahahaha... I like this idea... playing off Pope Benedict XVI for the Catholics

    New Orleans Hornets‏@Hornets
Great suggestion! RT @MDPMe: @Hornets mascot emeritus and mentor to the new mascot

Dirk Nowitzki didn't even wait to shave his beard. He already got rid of it in the visiting locker room after Mavericks reached .500 mark

I was kind of disappointed that they didn't do more.

The video and the reaction afterwards was cool though.

FSNO reruns the game at 12:00AM for anyone who wants to record it or whatever. I'm recording it just for my personal needs. I'll watch the game because I missed it today.
