I've held the same opinion all along. They will listen to offers for him (not look to move, there is a difference) but nothing will be good enough.

I say trade him. I think we can get Phoenix to give us a 1st and we can draft to high picks who could fit better together and be huge for the future. I think the Suns would do this is a heartbeat when you see how badly they wanted him before. Another team who I think will definitely want him and be a second option is the Warriors. I wouldn't mind getting Harrison Barnes and maybe future 1st. Its possible both Barnes and Thompson are pulled but I really think Barnes solves our SF problems for a long time and is gonna be one of the best SFs 2-3 years from now. Monty and Barnes would be a great fit for each other. Kid has elite size and skills for the position unlike any talent Monty has ever coached. I really think he would like having Barnes over Gordon but we will see.

Keep. Because if you trade him, you're only going to be trying to replace him with a similar player. The only real issue is his health, although that's a big issue.0

With that said... I think either he or Vasquez has to go. I don't believe they play that well together. Both need the ball in their hands and Vasquez isn't much of a threat without the ball, nor does he play any defense.

It depends how they do in the lottery, if they luck out and mclemore falls to them they are taking him, if he isn't, they would prob do it.

They not giving up their pick now if they get the Laker pick if the lakers miss the playoffs that's a possibility. Would you give up Gordon for the 14 pick and a player from the suns?

Me either but I could live with dragic or gortat but I would have to see who was still available in the draft.

I like gortat but not for Gordon. We're already thin in our backcourt.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Yeah and he really too old to fit in our plans but like I said who was available at 14 would be the deal breaker for me.

ya they are both good players and i thought of both of them but neither of them fit our scheme, much rather gordon, him and AD in the pick in roll game will be deadly soon and if we can add a sharp shooter at the wing watch out. otto porter/shabazz

You can't really say with any certainty that he's a future all star. Does he have the talent ? Hell yeah. Whos place does he take ? Kobe's now ? Remember a lot of all stars are picked by fans and the hornets don't get a lot of exposure. I'd say Lillard will be the next guard to make it. Not saying he's better.

Starters are picked by fans. reserves by the league so Gordon has as good a chance as Lillard cause neither will get starter votes.

I know how the process works. And I don't think Gordon is as favorably looked upon by the rest of the league tbh.

Disagree with that. If Gordon puts up the numbers and stays healthy he is in. He has done nothing to make people think he is a bad player. This guy was a final cut for team USA how is that unfavorable?

He also garnered little to no consideration in both the FA and trade market. If you look up earlier, I sai he had the talent, just doubt he would be named an all star.

Restricted free agents on teams with cap space usually don't. And nobody is trading for a guy of an injury with play restrictions on a max contract. The fact he got any offers shows he has talent. I'm saying he is not look at unfavorably by the league he just needs to stay healthy to earn his spot.

I say trade him. I think we can get a high pick from PHX. We may have to take back some bad contracts for a year or two. I've always been a fan of building through the draft.

Gordon presents so many issues with so many scenarios that doesn't turn out positive for this team moving forward it's IMO the only logical course of action.
