Over Gordon's last 3 games he is averaging 21 points and 6 assists, for comparison stef curry who is playing better than any guard is averaging 22.5 points and 7 assists. You can see Gordon is coming back to form with his explosion and ball handling.
1. To Keep Gordon
- Even though he looks good now with an entire off season of rehab, a good draft pick, and all the trade value we have we could put a very good team around him not making him doubled team anymore and could see him averaging 22-6 all while being a good defender.
- Gordon is like an anthony davis of guards as in davis can do everything from shoot, rebound, defend, post, dunk pass, Gordon can do everything from shoot, drive, get to the FT, pass and defend, which is rare and few guards can do it. And if Gordon continues to stay healthy I see him being the 2nd best SG in the league behind only Harden in 2 years.
2. To Trade Gordon
- While people think his trade value isn't high I tend to disagree. Dwayne Wade was plagued by injuries but stuck through them and became the great player he is and their game is very similar. I think we could definetly get a very nice piece for Eric Gordon
- It could be better to trade Gordon because he can never stay healthy due to his pitbull attacking mentality. I just hope it wouldn't come back to haunt us because like I said he has a very rare skill set in which he can do absolutely everything.
I think Gordon with a full off season and weapons around him will be phenomenal next year, if there are no injuries but that is unpredictable, so is life.
