Any other season ticket holders out there get a message today regarding a meeting between Dell and the marketing group? Key things that stuck out to me was.

Regarding the "Team" SF position in priority #1 in the off season and "Definitive core moving forward is Davis, Rivers, Anderson, Vasquez, Lopez, Smith... and "Maybe" Gordon.

I got a call from the rep, but nothing about that.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

i sure hope this isn't true... Vasquez and Lopez shouldn't be consider a core of anything.

Depends on what your opinion on what a core is or not.

Same as Rivers or Jason Smith. Only reliable core are Davis and Anderson. Gordon is a maybe.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Damnit. Wish Rivers was healthy. This would be a nice game to see what he can do as a starter.

Bench can be part of a core. Trade assets are pieces to a new part of the core.

Why can't people just applaud Vasquez for things he does well? He's been in every game giving everything he has. Whether what he has is good or enough, is another debate that has been burnt out.

I never said the "dude" doesn't rebound, he's a 6'6 PG. What i said was that he doesn't fight for rebounds. Again he's 6'6, he gets rebounds, but balls find him, he doesn't find the ball, unless he's trying to get that triple double. On average he has 5-6 inches on the opposing PG on a nightly basis, if they track of PG rebounding, he better be at the top of that list.

With AFA and AD being so active on the boards, there are a lot of balls that are there for others to haul in, with a 7 foot center, balls bounce his way quite often.

And yes i know that any one can get injure regardless of of physical attributes. But the more muscular a guy is, the more prone to pulled muscles they are, the faster a guy moves, the harder it is on the joints to stop and change directions because of the speed he's moving. The collisions when they take place, happen faster and harder, so

A guy who is really active will subject himself to more risk, always fighting for position, hustling on defense, constantly attacking the glass, challenging shots and going up quick and high, means more chances to come down on somebody's foot or catch an elbow. Chasing down loose balls and working hard on defense, means more opportunities for your feet to get tangled and ankles to get turned.

What i'm saying to you GV lovers who seem to get butt hurt every time some one mentions GV and don't praise him is that, because of his lack of physical talent, his chances for injury are limited to the freak accident vs the explosive athlete injury or the hustle injury on top of the freak injuries that often happens. I don't think his great injury history is due to his healthy living, Yoga, therapy and massage treatments.

Durable to me means built to last, he's built with no physical talent, not having any aids him in not getting injured and limits his injury risk to the "freak" injury.

As far as applauding him, his applause is that he's on this team getting a chance that most guys with his level of talent won't, he's getting a chance to earn his paycheck outside of just practice. A chance to play on a rebuilding team with no established talent in front of him and no threat to his playing time behind him, starter minutes to build his NBA reel that will allow him to linger in the league for some years is his applause.

It's the same group of guys that come out to his defense every time, pointing out ever little thing he does in every game thread and you're closed lipped when he looks like the player he is.

Either you were the GV type guys with no talent growing up or you're proud of your heritage and that's why your support of GV is over kill, but either way, I can respect both, but when the clowns who resort to personally insulting people that you don't know on a forum start spitting venom, there is a problem.

    Vasquez out against Nuggets

I would be more frustrated if Rivers was healthy since Monty would start Roberts over him. Monty rarely used Rivers right during the season.

I'm far from a GV lover, but I'm not a ignorant GV basher like you. Case closed.

Aww man... it might get embarrassing tonight. Can Denver cover a 40-poiint spread? Sheez... no GV and no EG. Not that we were gonna win with them, but this one might get ugly quick.

I'd like my crow fried with a side of curly fries and a strawberry Fanta.

Great game all-around... Bryan Roberts with a huge game at the point, and Darius Miller had his "coming-out" party.

Great win... man I wish we can end the eat streak on Friday too because I'm tired of hearing about it. But these guys showed me alot tonight. Great win!

Well I'm sure based on ones personal feelings and motivations it can mean just about anything someone wants it to mean. In those cases I wouldn't expect anything to deter that person from their way of seeing things.

I got an e-mail saying that the marketing team was meeting with Dell and asked for fan questions. Said Dell promised full candid answers to any question posed, (with-in reason). Those comments came from the follow e-mail I received yesterday. Seems like teaser information. Ticket rep said to call him for more in-depth information , (esp. regarding Gordon....) I took it to be bait to get me to renew my season tickets or upgrade. (which I'm not sure I will, My son and I had a blast this season, but really the drive to and from Baton Rouge on week nights was killer. We'll be going to select Pelicans games in 2013-2014 but as far as season tickets, we'll probably be going to the Johnny Jones show at LSU next season.) Anyway i was just wondering if anyone else had gotten an email like that.

btw, along with saying SF was the priority this off season, the E-mail also said that the team plans to be very active in the FA market and is confident that the new training facility will help get over the hump of attracting quality FA's. (Didn't really say it but I get the idea that the lack of said facilities has lost them some players in the past.)

Season ticket reps aren't going to leave out the names of Vasquez & Lopez when talking about the future. They're under contract next year. There's no reason to speculate when it comes to selling tickets. A lot of fans like Vasquez because he plays hard. Plus, the GM isn't going to tell a sales rep if he plans on trading someone.

I still think Vasquez is gone most likely this offseason and that Lopez will be gone by the trade deadline or offseason next year when Davis slides into the Center position.

Exactly. And I want Lopez on this team next year.

    Just coming off the bench.
