Looks like RYNO will be out tonight vs. Nets

    John DeShazier‏@JohnDeShazier
Look for Lou Amundson to play tonight for Hornets vs. Nets. Ryan Anderson probably will be a scratch.
so is this the team pretty much rolling out the tank if RYNO is scratched tonight?

I agree. I accept the tank but i hate it when teams put themselves in the best position to lose. Teams like Cleveland who tank almost every year are a blight upon the NBA. I swear they stockpile draft picks every year it seems. I dont want us to become one of those teams. We need to be in the playoffs next season no ifs ands or buts no coconuts.

All those draft picks have gotten Cleveland absolutely nothing in terms of success. It's why I'm not crazy about always getting a top 5 pick like people on this board.

Tanking just builds a losing culture with little pride.

Definately. We already dug ourselves a hole though... So i can live with it for this season. We have alot of talent on this roster Idc what ppl think. If half the games we had in the bag had gone our way we could be looking at a slightly over 500 record. Things have just not gone our way whether its intentional or not.

We need one more top 5 pick. We are far ahead in terms of development from the cavs and kings of the league. And we will make the playoffs next year. We will have a better PG, an improvement at SF. Davis will have more strength. Just calm down. The tank is very important right now

People need to stop trying to be like other teams. This team is completely different than the Thunder. We have quality pieces already in Anderson, Smith, Lopez, and Gordon. Tanking is just wasting time on these contracts.

Also the Thunder have proven to be superior draft experts with players like:

    Durant
    Westbrook
    Ibaka
    Harden
    Pondexter
    Bledsoe

in the past 4 years. Meanwhile, the hornets as a team shown poor draft performance the past 5 years.

No offense guys, but if AD plays 30+ it's hardly a tank job...
    Wherehappens.

I think most here agree. I don't think anyone actually believes were are actively TRYING to lose games. It just comes naturally to this team.

To compare us to the thunder as far as picks isn't fair cause 1st of all there haven't been the quality of players they drafted available to us in our drafts. It's not like we have missed on a sure fire all star to draft someone else. Ad was there n we got him. 2009 we got Collison which was bpa at the time n we didn't miss out on anyone after him. 2010 we did miss on a few guys such as Bledsoe,Avery Bradley Ed Davis Patterson and Larry sanders. Hardly the talent the thunder have had to pick from they just got lucky as in the type of talent coming out during there "tank" years. We didn't even have our 1st rdr for 2011. Just showing that comparing our draft decisions are not as bad as your making them out to be by comparing Okc draft for last 4 years.

I'm not the one to compare to the Thunder. I've always thought it was dumb, but people insist on bringing it up.

I would agree, but that's sometimes a big IF with Monty.
