Any 2k13 players will like him. I once dropped 37 online with him playing as minny... He is fun to play with, for me at least.

Hornets to sign Lou Amundson for rest of season

I remember him as a real energizer off the bench when he was in Phoenix, that guy used to have a motor
Saints, Pelicans, Tigers, Braves, and PS3 (NinthWardJay is the PSN)

There's a reason why Whiteside hasn't even got a 10 day contract with a team this year. He's not as good as people here make him out to be.

Monty didn't like Sims, said he wasn't working well with his "system"

I'd rather a young player with all the potential then someone who's probably not going to make your team next year.

I'm guessing he saw it in this article. Maybe Monty told this to the reporters.

The Hornets are still looking to fill the void of not having forward/center Jason Smith, who is out for the rest of the season after requiring surgery last week to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. The Hornets signed forward Henry Sims to a 10-day contract last week but he is having a difficulty picking up Coach Monty Williams' system. Since signing with the Hornets, Sims has played in two games and has averaged 2.0 points.

Probably just a guy that can play some center behind Lopez, since the Hornets seem to want to limit Davis' exposure against bigger guys at the position. Plus he's one of those high motor, 110% effort guys that I'm sure sets a good example for the younger guys in the locker room.

The reason he was being idolised a few years ago and now no one wants him is simple. Back then we were trying to compete right away, now we are in a rebuild. We want to find good young players, with untapped potential. Not some washed up veteran journeyman who has had unlimited opportunities to prove his worth. 10 day contracts, under-played rookies + sophomores, Euro-league players is what everyone here wants. People who could actually stick with and help the team in a big way for years to come.

Combine that with the fact, back then are front court was super shallow, and now its really not at all I think that's why most are unhappy with the signing.

Didn't say he was good... yet, but he's physically talented and he's just 23. And i'm sorry, if you were drafted by the Kings, Bobcats, Wizards, etc. you deserve a second chance, and if you were traded from one to the other, released and picked up by one, you deserve a third. Especially for the Kings, with that team, there was no place for a big, a 7 footer coming in from a small school to develop, especially after he got injured.

He is now playing well for a d-league team, despite being on a d-league team full of chuckers. Lance Thomas and Brian Roberts are not good, they just so happen to get a shot on a team that had available spots at their position when they got the invite. We need to find talent were ever we can, especially at C.

How about giving aminu some work at his natural position at pf?? and play some small ball and see if darius miller or xavier henry is worth keeping around??

    this move makes zero sense

AGREE with Mr. West, Amundson is a caveman version of Jason Smith. I am referring to his looks and play of course. Hustle, hustle, hustle, Garbage guy. Cleans up after you and grunts. hahaha I like it we need bench hustle with smith gone, and you know exactly what you getting.

He is young so if he shows promise, he may have a future. A 30 year old journey man this late in the season does nothing for this team.

Exactly, this is not about winning, but developing for the future.

Everyone gets it, we just don't agree with moves like this. If we were going to the playoffs or in playoff contention, it would be different. I would still prefer young talent, but still, i could see making this move. Replace Jason Smith with a Jason Smith like guy.

But this is a straight up Monty move, for a guy they've been liking, one of those dreaded Monty "Type" guys. I wouldn't be surprised if this signing was made just to give them the inside track on signing him next year, when they feel they will win more games, energy vet.
