Looking at the schedule, there is a back to back on the 17th and 18th this month, as well as the 9th and 10th of April.

This is the best thing to happen to Austin. He literally ended his season on a high note. Also he is forced to use his left now ;lyrics

But I'm going miss my lil homie man

I think he was making a joke about Rivers no longer being able to play back to backs.

New Orleans Hornets guard Austin Rivers will have surgery to repair hand fracture next week

New Orleans Hornets rookie shooting guard Austin Rivers will miss the rest of the season with a fractured fourth metacarpal bone in his right (shooting) hand and will have surgery to repair the injury either Monday or Tuesday next week.
Rivers broke his hand early in the second quarter of Wednesday night's 108-102 loss to the Lakers, playing through until almost halftime and hitting 5 of 6 shots while scoring 10 points.

This is probably the best news for Rivers all season.

He can't play terrible anymore and make his season solidified as the worst in history for a player getting significant playing time.

So hey, that's a positive. Baby steps... baby steps.
