Is there a way to see Player injuries? I see that Laettner is our with an injury, but some of my players played in only the first and last game of the sim. I assume it was because of injuries, but I don't know how to tell.
I went 5-3, my best sim yet, and Ridnour got a triple double!!!!!!!
HR Sim League Orlando Magic
PG: Luke Ridnour, Delonte West, Greg Minor
SG: Andre Iguodala, Mickael Pietrus
SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Boris Diaw
PF: Charlie Villanueva, Ian Mahinimi, Amir Johnson
C: Eddy Curry, Mamadou Ndiaye, Adam Parada
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I'm scared that is how Steve Francis will turn out for me this year.
Not Exactly.
He offers you and if you decline, you lose his bird rights, which shouldn't hurt you much since you only have $$21,121,140
on the cap next year. The next period will be only for people that did not get a chance to resign their own guys (which wouldn't apply to you). Then he hits the free market. You do have some advantages. You can pay him up to 120% of his previous salary for 7 years with 12.5% increases.
So what you could offer max would be :
1 $16,953,750.0
2 $18,837,500.0
3 $20,721,250.0
4 $22,605,000.0
5 $24,488,750.0
6 $26,372,500.0
7 $28,256,250.0
Other Team could offer a max of :
1 10,625,000
2 11,687,500
3 12,750,000
4 13,812,500
5 14,875,000
6 15,937,500
Thanks BSH. Do we get to specify the length of the contract. So could I technically offer a player like Francis a contract similar to above with 4 or 5 years?
No Problem. You can offer anything lower than what i posted.
So the varience per year is as follows from your contract versus the external FA max:
1. $6,328,750.0
2. $7,150,000.0
3. $7,971,250.0
4. $8,792,500.0
5. $9,613,750.0
6. $10,435,000.0
So knowing this information you can possibly meet in the middle to ensure he signs but you're not paying the max max. Maybe start it at 11.5 per year and do a 12.5 increase instead of almost starting at 17 million. Would save you -$47,547,500.00 over the life of a 7 year deal.
You'd also have room for another max level guy on your team or a ton of depth. You'd have 32 million on the books w Francis.
Also, Francis is 5 years in the league, but for his 5th year has been 15MIL. DId he sign a one year deal after his rookie contract?
It was a fantasy draft from the year 2000. All players that were first rounders got 5 year deals. We're in the 5th year.
I think this is wrong because he would have lost his Bird rights.
If a player is resigning with his previous team and has less than bird years:
1) The contract can be for up to 6 seasons.
2) The player can receive a raise each year of up to 10% of the value of the first year of the contract.
3) The player can receive the larger of the team's salary cap room(up to the maximum salary) and 120% of his previous salary in the first year of the contract.
Bird right give you ability to go over the cap to sign the player, don't think it effects the max u can give a player, or least it shouldn't.
Though sometimes the game has odd rules.
5-4 this sim... Not that training would have helped me much this sim, but i'd have rather it have been on this sim of 9 games than my next sim of 4 games...
Lost to Mavs, Sixers (****er), Clippers (WTF), and someone else... I at least beat the Hornets. Next sim is big with the Hornets and Sixers matchup.
PS - wanna send a nice EFF YOUUUUUUUUUUU to Pistons for gifting Cassell to the Wizards :| ****er!![]()
