I've done it once for the last 47 days in a row and recorded the results. The results have not been good. Maybe next week I'll post all the results I have as we near the May 12 drawing.

The free agent avenue is currently unrealistic.
Exactly. we've coveted a shooting big since the day Zion arrived and haven't come close to signing one via FA. Thats why i'd like to somehow acquire another pick 10-20 and take Rasheer Flemming. He's the only player in the NCAA who got 60 dunks and 40 3 pointers last season. He has a 7' &'5" wingspan, averaged 1.5 blcks a game while shooting 39% from three at good volume. I really dig how repeatable and quick his shot is... it must be respected

I don't know if he has really a 7'5" wingspan but he's one player I'd like to take a flyer on if the pelicans manage to get an additionnal first.

The combine in about a week will be interesting for sure, really looking forward to it since I feel there's some smokescreen on some prospect here.

lol I thought the same thing when I saw that as his wing-span, . I saw it in several places but that doesn't mean jack. I'd bet it winds up lower.

But then again, one has quite a wingspan even if they're lying about it to that extent.
I like that he's not just a big that can shoot.... rather a big who is itching to shoot w a fast release

Why would you wish #pelslife injuries on poor Garland this way?

I'm trying to keep myself as distracted as possible until May 12th. Thankfully my Dallas Stars are making that easy.

See y'all May 12th if all things go well. Maybe in June or so if it doesn't so that I can cry for a while.

Just played the draft lottery simulator again and the Pels landed pick #2. I am speaking this into existence along with pick #1.

https://x.com/DraftExpress/status/1920149123761643554 not going to lie this guy is interesting. Yes he really didn't show the shooting at Duke, but it seems like there could be hope for some in the league... massive ceiling

Does the new regime mean we're not enemies of Klutch now?

I have Maluach top 7, he's good fun. Good prospect. Not sure if I'd take him for the Pels, probably depends where we end up picking and who else is still available at that point, but I'd be open to it if we were picking 6th or something and my top names were taken.
    Basketball.

    Side note, I just did my mandatory 10 spins of the wheel and in my draft, the Pels got 3, 4, 7, 4, 2, 7, 7, 1, 5, 1.

    So that's nice, I guess.

If we don't get the top pick it will be because you didn't wear your lucky outfit.

The Mavs were so promised this pick for trading Luka to LA. There's just no way.

I guess trading LA your star player mid season, grants the number one pick. Nico Harrison knew this all along. Incredible acting job by everyone involved to pretend this wasn’t NBA ordered.

    We can assume that
    cooper flagg
    dylan harper
    vj edgecomb
    tre johnson
    ace bailey

that leaves us to select from

    kon kneuppel
    jerimah fears
    jase richardson
    kasparas jakucinis
    khman maluach
    egor demin
    rasheer flemming

i dont include derek queen cause he's not a rim-protector
asa newell and thomas sober are too much like our big man now
and i excluded wings that cant shoot

will all be gone by the 7th pick

I can't complain too much because I'm pretty sure the same thing happened when we got the #1 pick for sending CP3 to LA and again when we sent AD to LA....so we've benefited from this more than anyone. But the third time this happens and Dallas admittedly didn't even shop Luka to other teams...it only makes sense that they wouldn't shop to other teams if the league promise Flagg. No team could top that.

Hey guys, you remember what happened to the last 2 teams to trade super stars to the LA Lakers? Both long shot odds to get the #1 picks in those respective drafts. NBA is rigged. Don’t waste your money.

Yea Queen looks very coordinated for a big. let him and Missi and Kat duke it out for a season. The west is only getting more brutal.
