Come on down NHL?
The governor is a joke and I can't see it happening or being sustainable. But, if it did I would totally become a fan.
The NBA is on the decline because it seems rigged, soft, and has jumped head first into divisive political issues. Conversely, the NHL seems like the least staged of the American sports leagues, certainly isn't soft, and has shied away from political landmines more than the other leagues. If these trends continue, I could definitely see the NHL getting closer to the MLB and NBA.
I'm a loyal Dallas Stars fan but would change allegiance to NOLA very quickly. I've definitely watched more hockey than basketball so far this year.
Agree that NHL and NBA are going in much different directions. I just do not see New Orleans being seriously considered. Arizona and Quebec are probably top 2 in pecking order whenever expansion happens with Houston and Atlanta (not sure why, they have failed miserably previously) next. Lightning fan here.
Hey we did get another Wrestlemania . Never say never.
