Can we get 2 in a row? Still need to be better defensively but having Missi starting this early and playing well is huge. It's worth watching to see if he catches another body.

The Hawks are such a weird team. Not sure how viable they are at this point in time but I assume they will compete in the east. It's good that we are getting more of a look at Cain and BBJ. We will find out what we need to improve and where. Been impressed with BBJ in particular.

The one thing I have noticed since CJ went down is that the ball stops a lot less regardless of who is on the floor. We will soon find out if it is a CJ problem or whether we need to adopt a different mentality with him on the floor.

We were already short handed with Zion out too it's laughable. Literally 1 of our top 6 players out there. Good thing we still have BI at least.

Jaylen seems a very weird signing to me. He isn't a shooter and he isn't a PG. We could have used that spot for a backup big or a floor general. Is Griff just signing bodies for the hell of it? I don't see the thinking there.

I can’t do it

I do think we need to take one of the next two. You cannot let Portland get away with murder again. Cleveland will be insanely difficult. So it will probably have to be the Blazers. Injuries happen. Even the Hawks were hit with the injury plague last night. They had quite a few bodies out as well including Hunter. Part of the reason I think we get injured so often is that we have to work too hard to win games. We don't put anything away and rely too much on our stars to create everything. That has to change. We have to have a coherent offensive scheme that can keep us consistent throughout games with and without Murray. I'm not holding my breath, but we have to see how Green handles things when bodies are back. CJ is clear as day better in this team as a sixth man. Our defense needs to be able to consistently deal with guard penetration. These questions need to be answered.
