Then, when it makes the least sense to hire a rookie coach, she brings in Willie who still isn't prepared to coach a talented roster. I don't blame Willie for not being good enough. I blame the way the team has been handled by ownership and the lack of accountability we have as a franchise. There is absolutely no pressure or desire to win. Willie has full reign to run the squad into the ground. Zion and co. Will continue to be babied by management until they decide they actually want to compete for something. As things stand, it certainly won't be here. Things need to change drastically.
We always blame the players, but as you rightly said- the second they leave, they compete. That is for good reason. The culture here is awful
