CJ is a good compliment to Murray. You want to pair Murray with marksman from deep who can play off ball. That's CJ (and Trey). BI is a ball dominant mid range guy... that's why he isn't a fit in this starting lineup. Unfortunately it seems like after he ******** the bed in the playoffs nobody wants to trade for him. So we are probably keeping him. And I think to get the most out of him he should be on the 2nd unit where he can be the number 1 ball handler and scoring option like he wants to be... and not have to face elite defenders who apparently can shut him down 1 on 1.

Judging from the pictures of Zion at DJM's press conference...He looks overweight again man *sigh*

Playing next the Trae young would ruin Herb’s defense too. These 2 are going to be a nightmare for opponents

To be fair the season is months away and it is easy to lose that weight within that time frame. If he is fit when the season starts (as with all of our players) it don’t matter.

Are you looking at the same picture? Not sure how you came to that conclusion.

Yeah, it's not like it's important to the franchise or anything.

No it’s just that some people are a tad ridiculous with it.

The dedication/health of Zion is the single most important variable for the going forward for the franchise. I don't think making fun of his weight is necessary, but, until proven otherwise, his past actions have invited the future scrutiny on his conditioning.

Except that's not what happens. It's not that people keep his weight in the back of their mind as a variable that needs to be within certain boundaries, and if it changes dramatically, they make note of it.

No, what happens is that every picture of him becomes an opportunity to seek proof that he's 400lbs, and it gets to a point (like it has in past off-seasons and already has a little this off-season) where we'll get one picture come out and people say ''wow, Zion looks like he's actually in shape for once!'' and then another picture comes out four days later and they go ''UH OH Zion's looking overweight again! MAN, *sigh*''.

Like, do you actually think he's losing and gaining 50lbs every week? Come on. People need to lay off that stuff, it's gotten to an absurd place.

This time a picture invited the scrutiny, which is incredibly speculative at best that his conditioning is an issue.

I agree, but until he starts showing up regularly in shape, that's where we are.

Does not look good that he missed last playoffs and even worse look he's never been healthy for any playoff game in his career, but he is coming off of his healthiest season.
