Basketball.
What the hell
I get the mentality of ''just sit guys, it's the 4th and we're up 20, should be able to garbage time it'' but the Sixers aren't a team that does that, they want wins so they're going to fight. If they were Chicago or something it might be okay but tonight the guys are just going to have to close it out or they will force a comeback and no one wants that.
Need to keep giving Dyson minutes despite everything
I don't understand the hate the last few games honestly. Yes the 3pt shooting has been poor, but he was shooting well above his averages so everyone should have expected him to have a few ''back to earth'' games, and outside of shooting he's been great still. Amazing defense, rebounding well, making good passes, what more do people want from a 20 year old? He's still 20 until March.
I like Jose but I think we’ve seen his ceiling
You weren’t kidding about the 6ers being bad defensively
Haven’t watched Wemby play yet so I’ll be curious to see the hype. I’ve been joking that he’s the next Ralph Samson.
Pels win 124-114
Zion - 33/8/6 with 3 steals on 143.1% TS
BI - 15/4/6 with a steal and a block on 103.8% TS
CJ - 20/3/5 with 2 steals and a block on 61.9% TS (great way to come back)
JV - 19/6/3 on 104% TS
Herb's 5 turnovers is really the only blemish on the starting lineup. Everyone was at least a +10 tonight.
I thought BI played pretty good help defense
His outside game may give Jonas fits
Players to score 33+ points in a single game without recording a missed field goal:
— Will Guillory (@WillGuillory) November 30, 2023
Wilt Chamberlain (3x)
Nikola Jokic
Bailey Howell
Zion Williamson
Zion finished the game 11/11 from the floor and 11/12 from the FT line
11/11 is the most shots without a miss in Pelicans franchise history.
The last time someone had 33 points on 100% shooting was Jokic in 2018; the last time before that was Wilt in 1969.
Pels are 5-1 in Zion's last 6 games, he's averaging 28/4.8/5.7 on 71.4% shooting.
BI and Zion have now played more games together this season than they did last season total - it is still November.

Until we learn how to close out teams, especially teams that are crippled...we will continue to be an "also ran".
We were outscored in the second half by 10 and yielded 114 points to Joel Embiid-less 76'er team. That's sorry!!!
Don't be fooled by the occasional steal; you play defense with your feet.
We are good for five to seven minutes a night of 'stupid' play.
There are times taking the midranger is good. It depends on matchups and what's going.
But yeah, midrangers should be something you go to in order to maximise a specific mis-match, or as a bailout for broken plays. They're useful to have but your offense shouldn't be aiming for them. Tonight they didn't force us into anything uncomfortable so there's no real reason to go to the midrange.

It's amazing how this team can play well and win against good teams, but fails and loses against weak ones. Weak mentality??
