The team (and certainly the city) OWES him nothing except the jeers he gets on his trips to NOLA.

As obtuse as it gets. AD literally has no clue.
That's where I feel disconnected with most of the current NBA stars.
They want to be empowered but everytime they have to face the consequences of their own actions they start to whine.
It would be nice if they'd finally start to act like adults instead of spoiled brats.

But we know that will never happen so it is up to all of us who go to the games to bring "Welcome Back Wenyen" signs and hold them proudly.
And at the end have the old Loony Tunes ending with Porky Pig saying “ba-dee, ba-dee, ba-dee, that’s all folks!” Fade to black.
