After watching highlights I think Graham is going to be really good for us. He hits some really tough shots. He should get plenty more open looks with Zion on the floor.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has agreed to a five-year, $172 million maximum rookie contract extension, his agent Thaddeus Foucher of @Wasserman tells ESPN.

Looks like they couldn't squeeze 5 firsts out of anyone
Basketball.

I think people will be surprised. Graham is gonna be a baller for us.
The Pelicans absolutely had to find a starting PG in free agency. With the top guys going elsewhere (as to be expected), we just had to make a move. Graham was not high on the list for most people but he came at decent price (much cheaper than Zo), decent spot up 3 point shooter and defender, a little older than the young core guys but still coming into his prime, and locked in for the next 4 years. The Pelicans simply could not afford to wait any longer to address this glaring need. Now they can shift the focus more to signing the best available player instead of having to fill the glaring need.
What I loved about Graham in the highlights I saw was his high energy level. Lonzo's energy was always suspect and he would get down on himself and never really get the team hype or in a ready to win position. This I believe influenced BI and Zion (to a certain extent) in a bad way. As a lead guard, you have to sometimes will your team to victory and the small details like hyping them up to believe they can beat any team at any time even when they don't match up talent wise. I just don't see Lonzo doing that.
Chicago is paying Lonzo to be 2019 Graham. Graham?s #s reduced last year after Hayward and Melo were added. Graham is worth the contract that Lonzo signed and not worth, yet we got Graham for cheaper money because of the 2020 season.
Someone said on twitter, Graham's agent is also Zion's agent so there's that.
Some of the shots the dude makes are just silly. He is light years ahead of Lonzo with off the bounce shooting which will be awesome in the PnR with Zion.
I am 100% certain Graham's highlights are better than Lonzo's. Lol
Free agent guard Spencer Dinwiddie is nearing a deal with the Washington Wizards, sources tell ESPN.

Kawhi + BI + Zion make it happen Griff
It took Lonzo, the 2nd overall pick, 4 seasons to be what Graham, the 34th overall pick, was in 2 seasons. And Graham’s 2nd season in 2019-2020 was his first year with starter minutes.
Lonzo has reached his ceiling as a shooter. For every run he looks great, he goes on another streak of games where he looks below average and disappears. We dodged a huuuuge bullet by not committing $85 million to him for four years
Dinwiddie is very boom or bust and not worth over $18 mill
