Like the Pels tweet says, we're looking for a bounce back.
After blowing yet another double digit lead last game, with the offense completely dead late (nobody but Zion scored a single point for the final 7 minutes of the game, and we ended on a shot-clock violation), we take on the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavericks are currently 23-20, and were missing Luka Doncic in their last game: no idea yet on if he will be back tonight, as Dallas have not yet officially announced, but they did say yesterday that they hoped he would be.
We are, on the other hand, still missing Lonzo Ball and that's it in terms of injuries.
Dallas are the 11th rated offense in the NBA and the 23rd rated defense: they're not quite as offensively potent as us, but neither are they quite as defensively disgusting. They are 5-4 over their last 9 games (all of them since all-star break) which seems about right to me, honestly - they're a solid but not exceptional team, floating comfortably over .500. They were making a surge but Luka's injury has introduced real issues for them.
For us, I just want to see us play good basketball. I'm not asking for miracles, and what the result should be depends on Luka's status, but I just want to watch some good fun basketball and see how it goes.
