And that perspective combined with Gentry's general incompetence and lack of urgency produces a team that's pointless to even watch. There's no pride right now.
*Add another thing to the list when I probably prematurely but correctly turn on Griffin*

These are grown ****** men. It's on Griffin for inadvertantly giving them an out to not care about their livelyhood?

I put some of this on the players. I put the poor roster construction on Griffin. And the crap rotations on Gentry.

We really have no other bigs who can clean the glass and we didn't even expect Hayes to play most of the season originally.

More about handling the offseason and building a poorus roster. Wasting trade value for a soft rebuild. Gentry was forced on to him. So, I can't blame that on him. Whoever he hire next is on him. Being too conservative and passive.

Not gonna gonna bring his PR relations. Just his actual decision process. He can't make grown men play better, but he is the one that gets the grown men on this team.

Probably the best pass I've seen Jrue ever throw.

    NAW with the 3

One thing this game has doubled down on is that I have never seen a coach more consistently bench the hot hand than Gentry. He doesn't understand the concept of riding momentum.

Not a flagrant. Great play NAW. Excellent sequences.

NAW will mess up as he's asked to do odd things that aren't in his wheelhouse. But he's gonna be solid.

Spur blowing a 20 point lead would be like the last time they blown a 20 point lead against us like not even 2 years ago. That's wild.

We're gonna somehow win this, I feel it lol

I mean. If any of us on this board we’re the coach NAW would be getting way more playing time.

    Love this kid.

What a great halftime adjustment by Alvin. Give him a five year extension.

This is what I mean by prominent figures carrying water for Gentry by the way.

We've all been willing to call out the players for their lack of effort and poor play. This thread alone is filled with it.

But the minute things start to go well, someone like Shamit here will use it to try and defuse the very real Gentry criticisms.

Dose it benefit other team fans to see Pelicans get a good coach with this much talent and assets? If we don't stay bottomfeeders... Another team does.
