Thread: 6th March - New Orleans Pelicans VS Miami Heat - 26-36

Do not appreciate Lonzo throwing that arcing hook pass with his right hand over to Zion. Had to get a lot of arc on it to get over his man, which gave Bam plenty of time to come over and break it up.
    Tyrese Maxey/Isaac Okoro/Killian Tillie/Onyeka Okongwu/Devin Vassell endorser.

Rough first quarter for Lonzo so far. He just completely gave up on that Robinson 3, didn't fight over the screen whatsoever.

    Bounce pass maybe?

Zion with another great read on another double, again passing to Lonzo who hits the 3 this time.

    What are these fouls??

Depends on if he saw that angle available, the wraparound might have worked. But might have even been worth just pulling it out a bit, there was clock left. Getting a clearer line.

    The ft disparity continues

Hot take: Jrue is good at basketball

  10. #35
Great tracking of the ball from Lonzo there, getting the deflection on Butler leading into a Jrue transition layup. Nice sequence.

Ball is having a good March.

Absolutely. I actually checked his averages lately, seeing that PIPM surge after Zion's return.

Over his last 10 games, Jrue's averaging 19.4/5.3/9.4 on 48%FG and 39%3PT on nearly 6 3PAs a game. And his defense has been great.

Dude's just be on fire. Showing us a lot more of the top 20 player he was the last 2 seasons.

Just got a clearer replay; bounce pass wasn't there. Should have brought it back out.

Hated that contested fading 15 footer from Ingram. Great recovery for Zion to get the board. Glad we ended up getting it back because Bam fouled on that deflection.

how is that much contact not a foul when zion is driving to the hoop? he needs to do what all the other stars do and play for fouls.

  16. #41
    Zion's gotta box out there

But then that cutting layup on the other end? Sheesh

  17. #42
We need Melli on the floor with Zion against well-coached teams

They're clogging up the paint. To take a soccer analogy, they've parked the bus

  18. #43
    This is more like it.

  19. #44
    Smart Hart layup there

  20. #45
Ingram gets blocked and then doesn't hustle back on defense, leaving him late to contest the Dragic 3. Dragic missed it, but still. Bad transition D there

Hooray, E'twaun Moore isolations in the post

    Couldn't agree more.
Because of Griff's Genius, Gayle Benson now owns a second NBA Franchise for the next seven years,

Awful pass from Lonzo there. Butler was sat in the passing lane and he threw it anyway

  24. #49
We are sucking on the D boards right now. Need to solve this at some point

It was far too telegraphed. Need to show a little restraint there.
