Zion's shot chart is one dark circle at the rim.

  2. #102
What’s scary is that Lonzo is still a beat and a half late on those Zion spin-lobs.

Lord help the league if they become completely synchronized

  3. #103
According to the box score, Zion has 5 turnovers. In reality, he has about 3 turnovers and 2 absolute muggings that the refs ignored
    Basketball.

  4. #104
I hope Gentry gives Jah some hometown playing time.

  5. #105
That timeout might be it for Zion. We're up 23 with 7 minutes to go; empty the bench time might be coming.

  6. #106
Can someone find a replay of that last Zion steal. I want to see if it looked ridiculous zoomed in with how high he jumped

He BURIES switches. You really can't switch screen and roll with Zion unless you also plan to double team the postup.

Yep. And when it comes to one on one defense in the post, it's kind of impossible unless the refs allow you to get away with fouling. They did in the first half, but in the 2nd they started calling those grabs, and then it became money.

  9. #109
Gotta wonder why they're leaving Lonzo in here. He's the only starter who's topped 30 minutes. Zion comes the closest, and he's sat with 25. They just want him to pad his stats or something?

  10. #110
The fact that NAW can't even get 5 minutes in a 20+ point blowout is sad.

  11. #111
Ill never get tired of Jahlil post moves

  12. #112
We have 37 assists on 46 makes and counting………...

  13. #113
I honestly think Lonzo is in specifically and solely because Gentry knows we're only 3 assists away from the team record of 40 in a game. Which is super cynical lol

    Getting some NAW tonight
Actual proof Greivis Vasquez can throw Anthony Davis an Alley-OOP on an (kinda) fastbreak!

  15. #115
    WAIT WAIT, ALERT.

Lonzo has sat, NAW is on the court!

With 15 boards in only 19 minutes of play, Favors becomes the first Pelican in history to put up at least 15 boards in under 20 minutes btw

Why is NAW so bad? What happened to him?

This second group is not good. Almost lose when leading by 20 with 4 minutes????

End of the game, we win. The score is closer than it actually should be because we had 7 minutes of garbage time

    End of Game Statlines

    Ingram: 15 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals. 5/10 shooting, 2/5 from 3. 1 turnover, 2 fouls.
    Lonzo: 9 points, 3 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals. 3/5 shooting, all from 3. 3 turnovers, 2 fouls.
    Zion: 21 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 block. 9/11 shooting (81.8%). 5 turnovers, 0 fouls (I still think it's 3 TOs lol)
    Jrue: 9 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks. 4/10 shooting (40%), 1/5 from 3. 1 turnover, 2 fouls.
    Favors: 8 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block. 4/5 shooting (80%). 1 turnover, 2 fouls.

    Bench

Hart: 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals. Matches career high in assists. 4/7 shooting.
    Melli: 10/2/3 with 2 steals.
    Jax: 9/5/1/1/1. 3/4 shooting in 11 minutes.
Redick: 18 points and 5 assists on 7/14 shooting (3/8 from 3) in 22 minutes
NAW: 1 rebound, 1 assist. 4 minutes played.
Moore: 8 points in 19 minutes on 3/8 shooting.

I think NAW looks like he's totally lost confidence. He can hardly touch the ball without turning it over.

He's barely played, he has no rhythm, no confidence, no idea how to play with most of this lineup, almost no real experience, etc etc. He's had a rough year. Even when he has gotten chances to play he'll get put in, miss one shot, and get yanked again in 2 minutes. He's had a horrible time as a rookie.

Rookie wall. Which is odd because normally the rookie wall is because of fatigue at knowing the season in college would've been over by now.

    But whatever. He'll bounce back.
