We will very soon get to see a lot more of this!
So awesome. I'm eager/anxious to see how the team fits together and then what moves we make to find the best balance.
Going to really ..... if we fall one game short for that #8 seed in April. At least it is good to know we have gold.
Those 3s still feel like a dream. Surreal.
Good positive energy.
But also, yo mama's fat.
It’s not the fact that he made 4 threes in a row. We know he has been practicing that while he has been out. It’s the gravity of those threes. They literally brought us back into the game. That is clutch mentality right there. Clutch shots
The epic clutchness of knocking down 4 threes in a row when they are playing off and daring you to hit them was insane.
If you have ever played the game before you know that hitting a wide open shot is really hard. Let alone in those circumstances and to do it 4 times in a row.
It reminded me a bit of the Duke v Louisville game, where Duke was massively down for most of the night and then with about 12 minutes left, Zion just turned it on and took over. Reddish hit a few shots too, and Tre Jones had a nice steal in that stretch, so it wasn't entirely Zion doing it single handedly, but watching the game you can see how much Zion forced that comeback. He had like 3 steals, a couple of dunks, a layup, a block, a couple of rebounds, and a few assists in about 5 minutes and completely swung the game.
He's just got that ability.
Basketball.
It was the ease of the shots, too. So smooth.
There's like....those amazing musicians. The phenoms. BB King, Pert, Brian May....they make it look so easy. They're playing this insanely complex stuff but are so talented that it looks so effortless in their hands it makes it seem like any of us could pick up an instrument and play it. It's not that Zion's stroke was gorgeous or anything....it just seemed effortless. Like a layup.
