I’m not saying Cheik will make it. I just don’t think he ever had a chance to get consistent minutes. He was unfortunate enough to be thrown into the win now situation (in an underachieving team mind) and never really got acclimated. Some of that falls on Cheik for fouling everything that moves early in his career, but a bit falls on the coach as well for his silly rotations and lack of faith in youth.
