    Jamal Mashburn all over again...

TC is now my least favorite Hornet. He is a moody player, sometimes he gives no effort out there, now we have to watch his worthless tail sit on the bench and contribute nothing. I wish he would go bass fishing and never come back.

insurance is paying his contract while he's injured

and having a center next year > not having a center next year

al hortford number 20 on the list averages 10 points 8 rbs and 1.5 blocks and is 25% better from the free throw line in the same minutes as chandler...no one can say chandler is a top 10 center.

The hornets obviously were trying to keep the turf toe a secret and get rid of the guy by the trade deadline. Now he has ankle, toe, and necks problems.
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!

Are you high? Insurance pays a deal if a player retires because he can't play any further. Where did you get that silliness from?

Remember though guys, Just because he failed the physical DOES NOT MEAN he is not healthy enough to play soon. I've talked to a doctor and he says that its possible TC is healthy enough to play with the turf toe, but that the doctors examining him think the injury will linger and probably get worse.

If thats the case, then they might not have wanted to take the risk.

In short, TC could be back to play sooner rather than later.....but this is just specualtion.

Dude how does that help us win this year. We two solid big guys ready to come in here and give us a playoff push. Also insurance wont pay his contract unless he is completely totaled and his career is done..

Now we are stuck with Ely, Bowen, and Marks coming off the bench...

insurance pays when players get injured. generally at LEAST 85%

and if shinn/bower didn't insure these contracts, then that's their own fault and i can't stop them from running a reckless operation

Plus, he gets in foul trouble and complains to the refs entirely too much and I think it rubs off on the team, David West specifically.

Why does everyone think he is gone for the season? The qoutes ESPN had from Bower says he expects Chandler and the rest of the Big Men to step up.

Im sure he will be out for about a month more and he will come back

we weren't winning this year anyway

He will sit in his house in English Turn and count his Dixies. I was happy with the Chandler trade, and the only reason the guys on the team did not like it, is because he is therr buddy. If he does not average 15pts and 12 boards a game then he should be sent to the Sudan, to play ball.

Sometimes, it's not. A guy with a career hindering injury making $12M is not better than not having a guy with a career hindering injury making $12M.

do you understand the concept that this injury could stay with him for years and hurt this team in the process

$12M is irrelevant. we're over the cap with or without chandler's salary
