Would love to see Darius get that same freedom he had last game. This season is lost, Monty needs to see what our guys who are lower on the rotation can do. Austin has been lucky enough this season and last to be allowed to play through his mistakes and we have seen his improvement. I would like to see Darius get that same chance, yes he will make mistakes but he has barely played in the NBA yet, let him play through them.
It's not as if he forces too much, he plays within himself, almost to a detriment. He passes, gives his all on defense and has shown an ability to score on the run-out. I also like that his miss his on-line and long. He rarely misses sideways or short which is usually the sign of a great shooter. With more reps he will learn the little parts of the game and hopefully build confidence.
"Shooters gotta shoot"
I want 5 in a row
let's go Pelicans
Pelicans coach Monty Williams said both centers Alexis Ajinca and Greg Stiemsma have a preference to come... http://t.co/Q2AAyojwjb

Random note: Utah chose basket at opposite end from what about 95 percent of visitors pick. Most teams like D in front of bench in 2nd half

AR25 just went all Tyreke on the Jazz
if Frenchie would've made that against-the-shot clock 3 ball... :hihi:
Nice layup by Rivers there but the smarter play would of been to hit Morrow in the corner. All apart of his development I suppose.
No injury report yet on AD ?
Demps back in the locker room w/ AD
edit: definitely concerning
Withey time
TYREKE EVENS AAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD 111111111111111111111111111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
Maybe AD has been reading these forums and saw some of the ideas about trading Gordon, and then he decided to call Demps back to the locker room to discuss some of them.
Anyone wonder why Jrue never comes to the games?
Demps and Jen walking back to locker room talking. This may be serious.
That was a great box out from Withey.
And....now I have 0 desire to watch the last ten games of the season.
Davis out for the rest of the game w/ a left ankle injury
Anthony Davis is out for the remainder of the game with a left ankle injury. Big blow for the #Pelicans.

AD. Left ankle injury. Will not return.
AD is injury prone. Plain and simple.
AD has only missed 9 games due to injury this season (including this one). And his broken hand was a freak accident.
so... we're on a 17-4 run right now
