Yep I really like the guy because of his attitude, but he's a very bad fit with us.
I don't hate him as a person (great dude as for as I know) and I don't hate him as a player... but some things he does on the court I find myself cussing at my TV.
- You can't run a P/R and not even look at your roll man. So many times AD had a clear path for the 'oop and Gravy missed him
- Why do we constantly take shot desperation shots to beat the shot clock.
- Why does he turn the ball over so much?
- He's not the best defender.
Other than that... I don't have a problem with him!
Man this radio show has been the best thing to happen with the Evans talks. This dude just yelled out a called who asked what the Kings do about their backup PG if Gravy is brought over. He started yelling, "I don't care, you start your best players! I don't care! Isaiah Thomas and Gravy are an awesome one two punch. I don't care about hurting people's feelings. We need to win games!"
Apparently, if we move Gravy in a S&T for Evans the Kings fans will be happy for the cap space and Vasquez.
I love General Greivis, but he doesn't have a spot here anymore.
Bring Tyreke, trade Gordon for someone that will surprise us all. Change Lopez and GV for another surprise.
Get it done Demps.
After looking over the kings roster and cap room. I'd be shocked of they matched this offer sheet. I really would.
I honestly think that Vasquez is a great fit for the Kings and that Evans for Vasquez+cap space seems reasonable.
The issue is that no one knows what Sac really wants ... and from what we saw yesterday not even them. They need to get a plan straight on Evans or a S&T.
If only we did not need them to do it more than they do :s
This is a really bad move. Since he signed the offer sheet, we can't do a sign and trade now.
and I think the Kings match.
Edit: never mind didn't see 'will sign' in tweet.
Anyone remember when Greivis Vasquez took 25 shots and Eric Gordon took 6 in a game against the Wolves?
Cause I do :(
Kings fans have a poll up as to whether or not they should match a signed offer. It also includes a S & T option for Vasquez:

I can't read comments on ESPN anymore. The ignorant masses irk me. They think it is so funny that we are the Pelicans. Annoying. I really hope this team starts kicking some a&& soon.

One of our top 10 #NBA free agents wants to play for the Pelicans. Really.
What a POS ****** bag. What's this dudes problem with our franchise?
and Tyreke is waiting to verbally commit because...?
Sources close to Evans said he is waiting to see if the Kings will make an offer that's bigger than the Pelicans offer after ending their pursuit of Andre Iguodala.
That's likely all it would take for Evans to decline New Orleans' offer.

-I'd be really skittish if there is no sign and trade here. He's obviously willing to make the jump, but if he was holding out for more, and not equal, money, then there's no reason for the Kings to deal with him aside from matching. "I'll sign with you, but you've gotta do better than they do." "Nah, just sign their deal, we'll take paying you less over paying you more."
Let everyone clown the name all they want. It won't matter if we win. Even better if we win a Championship and they have to say, "the New Orleans Pelicans are the national Champions." Let them eat on that crow. . .er. Pelican.
That tweet made me mad

Doesn't make any sense. The Kings have no obligations to sweeten the pot for Evans. Unless we pull our deal, if they want him they just need to match. Unless he signs a qualifying, but no one does that. Kings would have to be incompetent to offer a higher deal. THEY have the edge in retaining him no matter what. It's a deal not suited for them, but all the same.
I don't buy it.
More like "Cheridan" he he heeee...
But really though, cuss him out lol
RT @itsjonsantiago: One other interesting note re: Evans &; #SacKings: I'm told Coach Michael Malone wants very much to have Tyreke in Sacramento next season.
Well, I'm sure Monty Williams wants Willie Green so...
Jon Santiago*@itsjonsantiago*about 16 minutes agoTyreke Evans to commit to New Orleans Pelicans if*#SacKingsdon’t make move today
Only move they can make make the same offer to him. Why should they pay a cent more than we are?
It's no different than when we first made the offer. Kings have the final say, unfortunately. Either they match or they don't. Only other thing at play is are they getting Vasquez or Lopez in the deal.
Tyreke's brothers' twitter accounts say a lot
If Sacramento was going to make a move, I feel like they would've already.
