Now it's $48 million?!
I'm not sure if I believe it's that much. If it was, he would have agreed then and there. I think 44 is the max we offer him.
Seems like no one really knows.
Here's a recently published article saying it's 4 years/$40 million, and he's coming off the bench at SF.
I wonder if they can trade Gordon cleanly to a team with the cap space and maybe sign all 3 of Evans, Iggy and Budinger.
You could play Budinger basically whenever any of Jrue, Iggy or Evans sit because all 3 can defend 1-3 in stretches and handle the ball.
Would solve a lot of floor spacing issues. Budinger in that role essentially becomes our real 6th man (since I consider RYNO more of a "starter" since he plays more than Lopez).
Maybe his agent is leaking the numbers to drive up other offers... IDK
Why did my professor assign a test during the first two days of free agency.
****
48 does seem extreme.
Hopefully we have a deal lined up with a cost-effective SF.
That's a ton and is overpaying, but I don't mind it.

We need to stop outbidding ourselves... Who the **** has that much capspace that is interested in him?
:clap::biglol::hihi::rotfl::lol:
If the offer is actually 4 yrs 48 million it's time to get a new GM
rotoworld is saying 4 years 44 mil
I absolutely would mind. That's an absurd price for Evans, absolutely ridiculous.
I thought 4/40 was a little high, but I would be ok with. I would not be ok with this offer. I hope those numbers are incorrect.

Man twitter is killing the Pelicans for offering Evans 10+ mil a year. The "general" public seemed to like the addition of Jrue.
how is 11 million for a 23 year old guard who is capable of 20-6-5 too much?
I want Evans... The price is a frightening factor though
