It's complete and total trash.
Rough, rough start to the second half
So, defensively our perimeter defense is bad. Especially when Zion is on the floor. Offensively, we're just watching BI, Zion, and CJ take turns going one on one. Our best stretch was when Jose was running point.
Going through a coach's growing pains is WAY harder than a player's.
So the refs are so one sided that the Warriors have their scrubs in against our starters and the scrubs are getting every call LOL
The Pels outscoring the Warriors in the paint and yet getting fewer foul calls and fewer FTAs.
Where have I seen this before?
Jose has a sweet spot from behind the arc, a little off to the side
Jose is a grown man!
Jose's facility as a scorer really has exploded compared to last year
Notice how hesitant the refs are to even call an obvious foul? Brandon needs to draw blood before getting a call. Almost as if the refs are trying to level the playing field.
Up 9 going into the 4th
I'll take it. Good closing segment to that generally bad quarter
Nice shot by BI!
whew great finish to the quarter, grabbed a little breathing room
BI saving us from another heartbreaking loss.
I have no idea where it's come from, because it has nothing to do with levelling the playing field. The refs routinely call us unfavorably when we're playing Golden State. We've seen it happen in multiple playoff series even at the height of their superteam powers, when they had the vastly superior roster. It's been happening for 7 seasons now, at least.
Players are obviously getting frustrated with the inconsistency of the calls at each end.
Herb just looks completely lost. He has been terrible tonight.
These last 2 games have been very disappointing.
This is how bad it is: Zion currently leads the league in at-rim scoring attempts per game, by a huge margin. Like, he's averaging over 20 so far this year and second place is Giannis who is averaging about 17.
Yet he's 28th in the NBA in FTAs per game. He's behind Steph Curry, Mitchell, and Bane from Memphis, who are all taking fewer than half the at-rim attempts. It's nuts. The refs just refuse to call things for us, and for Zion in particular: he's averaging nearly half the number of FTAs per game he was getting last season he played despite averaging more rim-attempts, and he was under-called then!
Absolute joke
We are playing their bench against our starters at home and barely winning. This team needs a lot of work. Without Jose we would be toast by now.
Good teams sometimes win when they play bad, i hope we can do it even though we are playing awfull...
That was a stellar pass from Zion out of the triple team
Ty freaking Jerome is kicking our ******.
I hate how Zion spins into a wall because defenders know which direction he wants to go. If he would just do the opposite, he would fool everyone.
Average white guy has turned in ragin caucasian against us.
BI fell asleep on the defensive end.
Gonna have to get a stop at some point if we want this lead to become anything comfortable
See how the refs try to even it all out. Looney shoves Nance out of bounds, no call. Warriors lose ball and refs bail them out with a phantom call.
Damn Larry Nance went way above the rim to dunk on someone's head
Nance for MVP tonight
Looney clears out Herb with an elbow to the face. No call.
Nance is playing fantastic.
Nance is close to untouchable for this team. He just brings so much for this team especially on the defensive end.
If only we could put Larry Nance’s brain in Jaxon Hayes’s body.
Zion can't be happy with Willie's late game rotations
Such a weird night. A white guy named "Jerome" was roasting us.
Pels are 5-3, 8 games in.
I'll take it. Should be 7-1, honestly. Lakers' game should have been a win, then there's that 1 point loss. Shame!
Very underwhelming effort, though. Zion really wasn't into it at all defensively. Seemed like a bunch of others were sleepwalking as well. No Hayes, no Daniels at all.
Half the time they are getting lost on defense. When they aren't screwing up the refs are making terrible calls.
Larry's best game in a Pels uniform. Didn't even have that one boneheaded turnover per game that gives me a headache.
Zion was being hunted on defense and scored on. He's just not good defensively against a team that went basically 5 guards. Plus he should be rested for tomorrow so it works out.
Not a well oiled machine just yet. But a win is a win.
Now i'll make way for the bridge jumpers.
