I don't relly have any crow to eat. I mean, I guess i get pissed with Asik at least once a game, but I think that's not undeserved when he makes those boneheaded plays. #nocrow
I am less bullish on Minty needing the ol heave ho. I say give him another year.
I was a fan of Asik, and was as emotional towards Rekes play (early on) as any sane person would be, but now, I am more happy about how things stand with him moving forward. He is the 2nd or 3rd most exciting player on this team.
I was pretty upset with having to deal with Gordon another year. He has really turned it around since his last injury, and completely changed my view towards him. He's gone from a complaining, non-team oriented, always hurt player (at least in my eyes) to a huge piece in our recent success. Hats off to you, Gordon. #EatCrow
It's a good think I can't remember what I said 5 minutes ago let alone months ago. I'm sure I said or predicted something wrong so I'll have a plate, just please pass the Tobasco.
P.S. I will never regret wanting old Pierre back.
Eric Gordon has no value #eatcrow
I need to eat crow on Monty. I didn't think he could coach his way into the playoffs.
Just want to extend our sincere congratulations to the New Orleans Pelicans on securing the Western Conference 8th seed with their convincing victory over the San Antonio Spurs.
Wish you the best against the Golden State Warriors...
I gotta to give Demps some props. The additions of Cunningham, Cole, and Q-Pon seemed pedestrian at the time and I doubted they would do much to improve the team, but they were the right fit after all.
After that horrid series of losses i thought we'd never reach the playoffs. Also, i thought both cole and pondexter would be more or less unimportant. Man i'm happy to be wrong
To start this season I thought that we would have a relatively healthy year (#eatcrow) and narroly miss the playoffs (#eatcrow). I hated the Asik trade (I'll eat half a crow here), and I really thought Rivers would become a semi important player for us (#eatcrow). I also thought at the beginning of the season that AD wouldn't be the third best player in the league and while I still don't think he is, he is much closer than I thought (#eatcrow). Munty also made adjustments that I didn't expect him to make (#eatoldcrow).
...I'm full.
Had to check my crow-eating level. Looked at some old posts for verification, but on 2/26 I wrote...
With 25 games left and a seriously depleted roster, what is our ceiling? I'd be pretty impressed if we went around .500, which of course would still land us well short of the playoffs. Still, given how things are, I'd count a 42-40 finish as a job well done from this point. I'd put 46-36 as the outer limit, meaning a 16-9 finish. That would be damn impressive and would mean our role guys play above their heads for a long stretch. I still can't see the Spurs or Thunder or anyone else in the top current top 8 stumbling enough to finish with 46 wins, barring catastrophic injury to a key player or players. If we were at full strength, I'd give us a shot to get over the hump, just a shot. But asking this squad to play .650 ball the rest of the way is asking too much.
Pretty much just the QPon and Norris Cole deals. I'll also eat crow for thinking we would have a good defense this year.
No crow to eat, but I'll volunteer to prepare it for those who find it hard to eat......
Sometimes I have been a bit harsh about Jen Hale but last night, she looked stunning...

I'll eat crow over Eric Gordon. Dude has really been a sniper and reliable since he came back from his injury.
