It probably won't help him. IMO he stays where he is. About 8-12.
But Brown might fall around our selections

Most definitely, he wasn't projected as a lotto pick already. He was highly regarded do to his skills so by the upset and him not being to showcase himself I can see him dropping even more if he measure bad at the combine.

He wasn't project as a lotto guy in most drafts he's a 15-20 pick

By some mocks he was projected around 10-15

Denzel is gone. Rabb is gone. Brown as well. Simmons.
Dont see many going to top 10.
Payton is gone and may be available around 35-40.

I can see Ingram shooting up to 1 now

If Ingram wont hurt himself by playing poor I expect him as a no1.

Me too people are too caught up on Ben's team. He was the most dominant players the college season and the only thing Ingram is better at is shooting.

I agree. I love Ingram but Simmons is an amazing talent. He is elite in every category except shooting which is the most fixable. Ingram is still a stud and in most drafts would be a clear #1. I'll take what Coach K says over anyone else and he says Ingram could be a PG at 6'10. Ingram is smoothe and very consistent. Great defender, good rebounder, very good passer, and lights out shooter. Both of them would be such a big shot in the arm for this franchise.

You want a wing, but the good ones are gone when we pick, grab Dunn in the first, and Prince if he is still there in the 2nd. Problems solved.

So grab Dunn and when he gets hurt you and many others sit there whining by blaming Dell that he should have seen this coming? This board is going to blow up with all the same people that think he should have predicted all of these injuries we have now. Well Dunn has his medical issues right in front of you with both shoulders under going surgery. This franchise definitely does not need an injury prone player.

Why would I complain about Demps? He will be gone before the draft.

Dunn hasn't been injured in two years, so why is drafting him a concern? We have guys who are always injured, that we love and plan on building around, so by drafting Dunn (even if he were injury prone)?

Besides, nobody likes Reke or Gordon, so we need to replace those two injury prone guys with a new, younger injury prone guy.

Which draft would Ingram be a #1 in? Over KAT? Over Wiggins? AD? Wall? Griffin? Rose? Oden?

I'll give you over Irving, and the 2013 NBA draft.
He's an above average prospect for a number 2 pick, but pretty bad for a #1 pick

Lol because he hasn't been injured in 2 years is so ridiculous. So I guess you deserve a clean bill of health because it's been a little over a year since your last injury. That makes total sense now.

Very likely he was the #1 pick over Griffin. I wouldn't say Wiggins is a clear pick over him either. Ingram does quite a bit better then Ingram did. Wiggins was in a weak class which made him the clear #1.

Completely different when we have Jrue that we invested a lot in. His injury is always a concern. AD is a superstar so yea real good example. Drafting Dunn who has two serious shoulder injuries is the exact thing you and quite a few others blame Dell for doing. This isn't an injury he has to predict it's clear as day right in front of his face.

Like I asked, when do we trade Jrue? You think knee problems just go away?

When did Jrue have a knee problem? He had a stress fracture which is much different then two shoulder surgeries. You think shoulder injuries just go away because it's been a year? Jrue is a proven all star that we invested a lot in. The injury Jrue had takes time to recover from which he has and is less likely to re injur again then a shoulder injury. Jrue isn't considered injury prone because of one injury that took time but I would say having surgery on both shoulders is. Much different then a player who already has one big risk factor of never panning out and another of having big injury concerns. Makes no sense what you are trying to say.

If we don't land one or two I'd like to trade down. I think we could build a scrappy bench and some good young depth. Walkup had a huge game against West Virginia.

I don't like trading down in the NBA at all. Much different then the NFL where the value can still be great. Way to hit or miss and the drop off of talent is huge.

Throw a bunch of darts eventually one or two hit, Plus we need good depth.

We will have depth next year when guys come back. We need impact starters. We can always fill out a bench and should have nice one next year. This team needs starters.

I am not letting Dunn's injury history stop me from taking him if he is there (and that's what we are discussing, no?). He hasn't had issues in two years, and in those two years since he has been solid. You know what you are getting, much like when Lillard came out of Weber St.

This draft is so deep, I am with you. This has the makings of a draft that can give you depth all the way into the 2nd round.

Every year people say the draft is deep. I think it's rather shallow this year, but to each his own.

The fact is though that trading down from a 6th pick isn't going to get much. No guys that will be available there are coveted much more than whoever will go for a few picks after 6th.

At this point you're not trading a pick. Your trading a player away that could be drafted their and I don't think anyone available at 6 is going to push anyone to fork over much at all.

While I agree that it is a bit early to say that this is a deep draft (we still don't know all of the guys declaring) the upperclassmen coming out, matched with underclass men who are heading out (so far) it is looking very appealing to have multiple 1st round pick.

Jaylen Brown really failed today. Does nothing but strengthen the questions about his skillset being good enough to contribute in the NBA. Uber athlete, but where is the basketball player there?

Hield delivered. Jamal Murray was good. Happy with either at 6 or 7 in the draft.

So after 1st round there are 12 prospects left from top-30 and 13 from the top 31-60 (based on the Draft Express Rankings)

so apart from Internationals only Ingram, Allen, Dunn, Poeltl, Murray, Skal, Ulis, Hield, D.Jackson, Stone, Sabonis, B.Johnson remains in the competition. All of them can go up (or down) in the rankings...
Ingram, Dunn, Poeltl, Murray, Hield are top-10 locks IMO. Skal, Stone and D. Jackson will be probably in late lottery (10-14). Ulis, Johnson and Sabonis might be in the middle first. Allen will be late first.

Second rounders from our range who are still in play are Trimble (Maryland), Selden and Diallo (Kansas), Brogdon (Virginia), Hayes (Wisconsin), Bermby (ST Joseph), Morris (Iowa State), Payton (Oregon). I will be fine with any of those projected 2nd rounders...

I'm with you on that one. I just don't see another team wanting a guy so bad at 6 that they are willing to trade 2 of their picks. If we won the lotto then someone would be willing to trade two picks for Simmons or Ingram, but I'd much rather keep one of those guys.

Agreed. Outside of Simmons and Ingram, though, I would learn towards trading out of the lottery and landing a couple of extra picks. I understand the "wow" factor of having a lottery pick, but its the things you can do with it besides just staying there and picking a player there.

I would not be interested in trading down.

While I like the idea of two picks i couldn't trade down with Murray, Hield, or Dunn on the board. Plus I don't see anyone willing to give up two picks for them.

I would love to somehow get another pick to snatch Stone. He could be the bruiser we need next to AD. Perkins could stick around and mentor him as well haha.

in the last 5 years, there were the usual amount of picks (a little more than this) that we could get to help in the 2nd round or late 1st. If Melo Trimble or demetrius Jackson really fall to the early 2nd as mocks have them doing so... it'd be like finding Isiah Thomas at 60

I want to build through the draft. I'm not saying we should trade down past 10 but grab a player that is falling a bit (jaylen Brown maybe)and grab another player. I want this kid, outside of Simmions and Ingram he's the most versatile NBA ready player. He can score, defend and play the 1-3, rebound and pass.

I came away from the Duke game really impressed with Grayson Allen. Shades of a young Kyle Korver.

Really? Seems to me the defender beats Murray to the spot over half the time. I was already cool on him but now I'm convinced not to take him.

I think between our top pick, Bdj, AD, and 2 seconds we will be set on young guys.

Last thing we need to do is trade down. We need to hit on a pick and so much is relying on us to find a big impact player. Trading down would be a horrible decision.

The way I see it our first pick will start if we pick a SG or SF. I guess because I'd like Lulawu I figured we could go down a few spots and still get him then with the additional pick late grab Bacon. We'd let them battle to see who starts. Watching the tournament I can see a few players falling that we may want at 6. This would all depend on where we pick and who goes before we pick.

Word is the Bucks are targeting him. I'm thinking at the combine he will be garunteed top 10.

If Dell is GM, he will draft center from Utah. The Pels need interior defense and Ryno's replacement. My other guesses are Dunn, Rabb or Jackson. Dell won't draft a shooting guard.
