A bit much it seems, but I would not haggle over the extra 1st. Garland makes a bit much for his game.
PELICANSFAN 05-17-2024, 05:54 PMThe Pelicans are a potential team to monitor for Donovan Mitchell, per

I'd give them this year's first, plus handing over the LA swap rights and a top 5 protected FRP in like, 2026.
Pelicanidae 05-17-2024, 02:26 PMA base trade of BI + Larry for Garland + Allen works. The question is what extra compensation the Pels would have to offer. Personally, I'd go as high
new city champ 05-17-2024, 12:45 PMGarland + Mobley/Allen...And you can have BI
WhyHornetsWhy 05-17-2024, 08:04 AMLet's be serious. He is simply looking for attention.
PELICANSFAN 05-16-2024, 10:18 PMMake him offensive coordinator when Borrego leaves so Willie can ignore him.
P_B_&_G 05-16-2024, 07:16 PMHe can do no worse than Willie. Perhaps he would be a step up. I?ve seen him courtside at Pels games.
?Y?all need to put me on the coaching
The fit next to Zion isn't perfect but we've seen enough now from Zion next to JV and Steven Adams to know that as long as there's shooting on the perimeter,
Pelicanidae 05-16-2024, 11:33 AMYeah that's the way I'm leaning right now with those two being gone. As for Allen, I'm not convinced the Pels should go after him. Not big on his fit
Mount_Zion 05-16-2024, 11:24 AMI'm of the firm belief that Mitchell and Mobley are staying and that Allen and Garland are on the way out.
No clue if we'll end up with

I remain unconvinced that Donovan Mitchell is absolutely, positively leaving Cavs. Mitchell would have to give up $69.9
This Cavs thing seems similar to the Hawks back court issues. Starting to think Mitchell will stay and Garland will be traded
Also the best
I'm a believer in Garland.
He had his jaw broken in December, missed over 6 weeks of the season, and when he came back he had reportedly
I'm not sure if there is a personal issue (though Mitchell seems to clash with just about everyone, from the looks of it) or if Garland just doesn't think

I would agree, I doubt there's a consensus among execs, and talking heads that Garland is better than Ingram. You can make an argument for "fit"
