I agree. And I was glossing over this article and looked at the names of some of the players this guy is tossing out of 23 and under players and I just don't see them faring well in the Olympics. I could be wrong though. Why is Stern even considering this? Because of owner complaints? Is that what Mark Cuban has been complaining about?

I wouldn't call it a prep, even though it is. The only reason he is on the team right now is because Griffin was injured and the team was limited with bigs in the first place.

That's true but was Davis the only other big they could've selected to replace Griffin? I think they were looking towards the future when selecting Griffin's replacement which is why they selected AD.

He'll is he complaining about anyway? Only player we ever had on Team USA that was on his team was Jason Kidd that ONE TIME.

    Dude just loves to complain.

Seeing AD play major minutes in the Olympics would be great, but let him earn it. Urgh.....
I think if they do that, it'd only be becaue the NBA wants to generate revenue for a basketball world cup.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Russia had a nice lead on Spain but ended up losing.

Never thought yanking Pau Gasol would be Spain's key to victory.
Did Spain really pull Pau from the game? Could it be the Lakers sent a message to play him less as to avoid risking injury so they can trade him? Just a thought that crossed my mind.

    They better stick to Delfino.

They have barely missed from 3. Close game so far.....

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
