I agree, I'm still not sure what it's supposed to be...use a bat, and with the whole advertising on the jerseys coming soon, we could advertise the dark knight rises when it comes out on dvd!

I challenged a couple other posters with this question who bring up the "dull name" argument (they didn't answer), but I'll ask you: what's so originally New Orleans and exciting about the name "Saints"? Remove any cultural connection with the football team. What's exciting about that name?

Saints refers to a very specific piece of New Orleans culture: perhaps our greatest jazz song. What is krewe? Krewe is a generic name for a group of people in a Mardi Gras parade. Krewe is way, way more generic. "Krewe of Popeyes" is something not so unexpected.... Krewe is corporate generic New Orleans, in my opinion.

If you want to use "Saints" as inspiration, think of other true-to-New Orleans SONGS that could conceivably be fodder for names. I know, this will be hard for most of you, since you are under the age of 25 and you are regrettably from the suburbs. Artists whose songs should be pored over: Fats Domino, Louis Armstrong, Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, etc. etc. etc.

To me the top names are ArcAngels/Angels, Krewe, VooDoo & Brass, in this order. I say Brass number 1 because it would be just dope. Picture the word Brass with a trumpet under it, with a nice gold & black color scheme! The jersey would be great as well with an all black uni with gold stripes coming down the side, it would be plain like Kentucky, but an beautiful old time kinda uniform. Idk about you guys but I feel if we get this name, with these colors & uniforms, we will have the best color schemes(which will draw fans) & best uniforms!
So what you all think?
