They could still use the Voodoo name, just not the same brand/logo -- that's assuming Benson wouldn't buy it from the AFL. I also readily admit that Benson is ignoring the name entirely because it is in use.

Was the Grim Reaper holding his scythe in one hand and dunking a ball with his other hand. Knees bent a little bit, and you could see his Nike's under his black robe.

Oh, come on, don't do that! For all we know you just saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico. I'm guessing it can't be good for the Voodoo name since it isn't one of your first choices.

The good news is... it's Voodoo....
its not the Jazz colorway, its the Mardi Gras colorway.

And the same sort of deal applies the Hornets in Carolina. Still, there are no Tigers here. There are Hornets here.
The fact that it has to be explained, however, calls into question the significance of the significance.
It's significant now because we grew up with it, as did our fams, etc.
Regardless of the name, and Hornets looks to be on the way out, it'll be significant in 30 years.
