They could still use the Voodoo name, just not the same brand/logo -- that's assuming Benson wouldn't buy it from the AFL. I also readily admit that Benson is ignoring the name entirely because it is in use.

A city with out of ground graves all over the place, built on top of a grave, and has a "scary" religion that uses occult paraphenalia and you tell me a reaper can't fit right in? It's a tone matching thing.

The fact that it has to be explained, however, calls into question the significance of the significance.

It's significant now because we grew up with it, as did our fams, etc.

Regardless of the name, and Hornets looks to be on the way out, it'll be significant in 30 years.
