I know we've all talked about Asik and trading him, but I'm glad to see him on the court and healthy again. Plus it's better to rest our main guys and have them ready for GS tomorrow.

I hate his contract, not him. I'm glad he's well again, and I don't want anyone to be seriously ill, as it sounds like he was. And yup, rest is always awesome

Can't believe I'm missed some Asik.

I think time has made us forget how good Asik really used to be. Sure. Even had he lived up to his averages he got overpaid. But not by much for how the league was so big dominant.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

Not really. He was atrocious for the last 12-18 months he played

We signed him because we always have bad luck. This and the Boogie trade were blessings from the basketball gods.

Blowout win and the Return of Omer?! And he had some nifty reverse layups, was awesome seeing Boogie hyping him up on the sidelines

I think Asik was playing while ill in past. Remember, there was a drastic change in his performance for the worse. He seems to have a positive attitude right now and if he’s healthy he could give us 10-15 minutes of playing time. He’s the best big we might have coming off the bench. If he’s physical, grabs rebounds and plays defense it will be great. Put him out there with Nelson, Miller, Jrue and Cunningham

You can pair Asik with either Davis or DeMarcus--either guy can slide to PF. Between him and Dante, you should be able to sit both your big guys at least 10-15 minutes a game.
Think David West might have tagged Rondo with his Pels nickname. Referred to him tonight as the "Little General."

    The Turkish Hammer is back.
He was working on his game at the facility for months. I expect to see him get more minutes as the season progresses.
Another good night for Alvin Gentry. I Salute you good job.
D Miller your time is coming. Next up the Champs in their house.

Asik playing, and playing well. Buckwheat posting like a normal fan? What is going on?

And the Saints winning despite being down by 15 with less than 4 min left in the game

Asik was actually impressive yesterday! If he can give us 15-20 a night playing like that, and let Diallo continue to develop, then we should be set with our bigs going forward.
