I think that's it... there is no missing piece... since Casspi is on a vet min... Pels don't have to match his salary... so we're done here

Best part is all the pieces we have kept and can be put towards a trade.

Supervillain was very cagey this offseason.

Meanwhile the Rockets GM needs to be kept in a cage.

Decided to google some articles on Omri and one of them said he shot 47% from the corner 3 in Sacramento. If that's not appealing, I dunno what is.

Shot 51% his rookie year, 46% his second year.

    Since then - 32%, 39%, 36%

Taping in about an hour. Glad this trade got down this afternoon/early evening. Didn't want to push the pod back to Monday

i think you missed my point, all of his political tweets were in support of Israel, nothing Pro or anti American

Awesome. I was just taking a shot that there would be one.

MM you are just gonna have to do another one when they sign Marion!

With the Rockets looking to release Gee after the trade, can we sign him for the minimum to round out the roster? I'd rather sign him over one of the summer league guys. If you had a 3 guy rotation at the SF position like Marion, Casspi and Gee I'd be a happy man. What are the CBA restrictions on making a move like signing Gee?

We can still sign another playe rtoo correct? If we were to find someone appropriate?

his first seasons in Sacramento were pretty amazing, he was a really good rookie and his numbers were declining since

the thing is that he is the definition of a streaky player, if he stays on the floor he can get hot and get real good (he had a few over 80% FG this season), if he's cold he can range from meh to downright terrible

And it's perfectly justifiable. He's from Israel. And he's pro-Israel.

If I moved to another country, I'm from America, so I'd be pro-American. I know nothing of his stance on America, so I wasn't commenting on any parallel.

I think his point was that its not surprising that a guy who is from Israel would be "pro-Israel." Just because he lives here now doesn't mean he shouldn't be supportive of his homeland. Just as if Eman moved abroad, doesn't mean he wouldn't support America.

ETA: Eman beat me to it with the explanation!

Interesting. Casspi and Reke's rookie years were their best seasons and they were at the same time.

Maybe reuniting them will bring that back.

  19. #169
I think the problem people have with Casspi's politics isn't that he is pro israel and in America, but that he is pro Isreal at all.

And of those 600 missile attacks there are hardly any casualties yet when Israel strikes back hundreds of people are maimed or killed. Either way i just hope he makes his shots.
When Israelis shoot they rarely miss

In the next few hours, somebody will likely come on here quoting his Synergy defensive numbers and tell you he is good. Do not believe it. He is not terrible, but watch the video over the numbers. Synergy is great for offensive breakdown, but you still can't properly measure defense yet.

He's average. But an above average rebounder, so that is a positive.

No wonder people use anonymous accounts to say what they really mean. You say something with your own name and face attached and you gotta duck and hide from the blow back and it's exponentially worse when you're a high profile individual.

Heh. Gives me a damn good idea for a character in a show or movie.

There are now 4 international players on the roster, where did Dell learn his craft again?
