The New Orleans Hornets rookie guard Austin Rivers rolled his right ankle during Monday's practice, but team officials said he is not expected to miss any time. Rivers, the 10th overall pick in the June NBA draft, has already had an injury-marred stretch with two left ankle sprains and a sprained left index finger that forced him to miss last week's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

His ankles are made of glass. Fortunately for him, he has mutant healing abilities.

Dude gets hurt more than Gordon.
Package them for a scoring 2 and be rid of the problem.![]()
Dude needs new shoes that rise up higher and needs to wear ankle braces or something.

Feel free to PM me for details.
What is with Rivers and his ankles? When I saw him roll his ankle against Dallas, it almost looked as if his shoes were too big for him. I am sure that is not it (as we have trainers to ensure that), but it gave that impression.
i think this is what Brian Roberts meant when he said Austin did a great impression of Gordon

Anthony Rivers. Davis and Austin love child.
Its crazy that he's rolling his ankle weekly it seems... he said he's never rolled them before until he became pro. Odd.
I know we're applauding his coming back from those ankle injuries very fast but I'm wondering if he should maybe let them heal a little longer before returning to the court.
He gets hurt easily but still plays hurt, or heals quickly.
I thought he was supposed to be breaking other player's ankles, not himself.
