Hornets single game tickets go on sale Thursday. The team has a New Orleans record 12,000+ season ticket equivalents now.

A season ticket equivalent means.. four 10-game packages equal one season ticket. New Orleans has never broken 12,000 before.

I was BEYOND turned off by the account rep who contacted me. Not that I can afford tickets right now, but I got an email from him titled "Hey..." It was the 12 game and half season info. Sorry, if that's the best way you can present your information, I feel bad for you.
But that is good they are at 12k.

To be clear, this includes all sales, not just full season tickets. Last season was like 10.5k Full Season Tickets.
They are no where near 12k STH. I estimate more like 9k. It's a great accomplishment and likely better than 12k fulls, since more people will be coming to games. With more people going to fewer games, those people are more likely to splurge on concessions, etc. and more people are in line to replace the STH that will leave after this year (normal turnover).
